I slowly make my way through the doors, my stomach sinking further and further as I crutch down the hallway.

I turn the corner to see Roman sitting on a bench, his head in his hands.

"Ro..?" I say quietly.

He directs his attention to me and tears stream down his cheeks.

He rushes over to me and holds me in his arms tightly.

"I'm so sorry.." He whispers.

"I know. So am I." I frown.

"Don't be. Please. Its me." He sighs.

"No. It was both of us. Was. We can fix it." I smile, wiping tears from his face.

"Are you sure?" He asks.

"Positive." I nod.

"There's nothing between you and Ambrose for real?" He frowns.

"Nothing at all. We're just friends." I smile.

"Good." He smiles back.

He pulls me into him and holds me tighter than he ever has before.

"I never want to lose you again." He whispers.

"You won't." I smile.

"I love you Rose. I really do." He smiles.

"I love you too, Ro. But I have a question." I say.

"Yes?" He asks.

"Can we get some food? I never got to eat." I cross my arms.

"Of course." He laughs.

He walks me out to the car and helps me inside.

I adjust my position to get comfortable, even though that proves nearly impossible.

"So, how's that foot?" He asks.

"If I don't move it too far to the left or right, or wiggle it a lot, it doesn't seem to bother me other than being very annoying." I shrug.

"The good news is, only a few more weeks." He smiles.

"3 and counting." I nod.

"That's the Rose I know. Excited and happy." He chuckles.

"Trying to be. My only intention right now is to end Victoria and reclaim my title." I say.

"Looks like Aj has that taken care of." He smiles.

"I know. I can't believe that!" I laugh.

"She respects you, and what you truly earned was taken from you. She understands that." He nods.

"True. But still surreal." I shrug.

"You'll get your championship back and you know it." He grins.

"I know, I know. But I have to be patient." I nod.

"Exactly." He smiles reassuringly.

The car ride once again silences, making me tense up from my own thoughts.

"You really think I can take Victoria?" I ask, breaking the silence.

"You could take her life." He nods.

"I just might." I laugh.

"Now, now. Don't get fired." He chuckles.

"We'll see." I smirk as he turns into a diner parking lot.
