As we were approaching the house, I run up ahead and go up the steps. Kneeling down, I lift up the welcome mat and grab the spare key. Then I stand and unlock the door. I push the door open and walk in, leaving the doorway clear so that Mason can push the stroller through and into the house. I close the door and lock it, then turn around and find that Mason has already unbuckled, undressed, and sat down at the couch with Austin. I smile and walk over to them, kicking my shoes off and tossing my coat on the side of the playpen on the way. I sit down next to him and smile as he lays Austin in his lap and tickles his stomach. I slightly giggle under my breath and Mason glances at me then bites his lip. I watch him and smirk, then reach for the tv remote. I click a few buttons and then a rerun of American Horror Story came on. I look over at Mason and his eyes shoot up to the screen.

"I love this show!" He practically yells at me.

"So do I" I say and giggle. "But it's a rerun, I've seen this episode twice before."

"Yeah." He says and stands up, holding Austin out and swaying him back and forth as if he were an airplane.

I watch as he lays Austin down in the playpen and walks back toward me, sitting back in the place he was before.

"So" he starts, "I want to, I mean, really want to keep seeing you Cassy."

I blush. " I want to too. Like, see you." I stutter which makes me go red in embarrassment.

He chuckles slightly under his breath and meets his eyes with mine. "No, Cassy...I mean...I want to try...us again.."

I am seriously freaking out. As I sit and stare like an idiot into his calm, yet anxious brown eyes. I feel like screaming yes at the top of my lungs and tackling him with a hug. But, I make the adult decision and keep my cool.

"I know." I smile and gush like an idiot. "I do too."
Then he smiles, I study his golden brown eyes, his perfectly plucked eyebrows, his cute nose, his lips. Then my eyes jump back to his. He's leaning closer, his eyelids start to drape over his eyes. Oh my lord. He's getting closer, I start to lean in, I feel my eyelid shut. His hand makes its way up my arm and cups the side of my face, which makes me giggle. We are about an inch away from each other. Can this actually be happening?
