5:32 p.m.I got changed into my pair of Roots sweatpants and a blank purple tank top, then went upstairs. My left wrist started to feel better, but my right one now has a deep purple bruise wrapped around it that fades out into a yellow, eventually turning into my regular pale skin tone. I sit down next to Julia's dad, sliding the remote out of his hand. He inhales deeply and wipes his face.
"Hey.." He says with a tired voice.
"Woah..what happened to your wrist?" He says, seeming more alert now.
"I fell down the stairs to the basement... I think it might be broken." I say, rubbing my injured wrist.
"Oh. Well we'd better get you to the hospital." He says, standing up with Austin in his arms.
"Okay." I say, not having the strength to argue.
I walk to the table and grab a pen in my left hand. I try to scribble down a note saying that we were at the hospital for Julia. But being right handed, my left handed writing abilities are definitely not the greatest.
"You don't have to do that." Julia's dad says, taking the pen from my hand.
With my left arm I grab Austin out of Julia's dads arms and walk out to the car. The car beeps twice and then I somehow manage to get the backseat door open. I place Austin down and realize I'm not going to be able to get him buckled in with only one arm. Soon enough Julia's dad comes out and buckles Austin in. I hop in the passenger seat and buckle myself in.
"Off we go." Julia's dad says as the engine roars.

9:23 p.m.
After four hours of waiting and talking and more waiting, we finally return home. I have a bright white cast in my wrist that already has "Feel Better My Third Daughter!- Charles." In bold black letters on the left side and on the top Austin scribbled something that I don't really know how to explain it other than a scribble of purple marker.
"Where the hell have you been?!" Julia yells as we walk through the door.
"The hospital? I broke my wrist." I reply holding my casted wrist in the air.
"Are you alright?" Julia asks, jumping on me with a hug
"Other than the broken wrist, yea I'm okay." I reply laughing.
"We'll I'd better get to bed. And get him to bed." I say turning to look at Austin, who is being held in Charles's arms.
I go to grab him and Charles flinches back.
"I think I'd better take him down for you." He says with worried look.
"I'm fine. Just let me have my brother." I say ripping Austin out of Charles's grip.
I narrow my eyes at him before turning away and heading downstairs. I hear Julia follow me. I place Austin down in his bassinet and stick a soother in his mouth.
"Now tell me what you really did." I hear Julia say from behind me.
"Well half my story is true. I did fall down some stairs and try to catch myself, injuring my wrist." I say.
"But not these stairs." Julia says.
"No..." I reply. "I broke into my old house with Mason, took the extra baby things, and when I went upstairs to close the window, my parents showed."
"Oh.. And?" Julia says, the desperation for information growing in her eyes.
"I ran down the stairs, tripped and broke my wrist. Then I got up and walked to the door, just in time to watch Mason get punched in the face by my father and watch Mason kick him in the balls." I say laughing.
"Oh my god!" Julia says bursting out in laughter.
"Okay wait. So your dad just walked up and punched Mason for no reason?" Julia asks.
"Well...I think he's still mad about how Mason was the one who got me expelled." I say laughing.
"Oh right!" Julia exclaims and laughs. "What even happened again?"
"He and I didn't know each other and we were both caught outside and everyone thought that he was the one who vandalized the hallways. But then he blamed the entire thing on me. And based on my history back then everyone went with it and I got expelled!" I laugh and fall to the ground.
Julia and I laugh for a solid 5 minutes before finally cooling down.
"Well now what's on our agenda?" Julia asks, wiping tears from her eyes.
"Want to go upstairs and camp out in the living room?" I ask.
"And watch old movies?" She adds.
"And eat popcorn and chocolate?" I add excitedly.
"Yes!" Julia says and jumps to her feet.
I make it to my feet and fix my shirt. Then Julia walks in front of me with two baby monitors in her hands.
"No offence little guy, but I thought we could have some girl time?" Julia says.
"Yes. Some much needed girl time at that." I reply and place the one monitors by the bassinet.
I turn them both on and then Julia and I make our way upstairs.
