The cold, snowy winter air howled as it ran past the brightly lit window of a cottage. A deeper look within here, and you would be able to spot nothing but decorations, smiles, hot chocolate mugs, and happiness. It was that time of year, again. Christmas.

The sound of the fire crackling every now and then, the aroma of hot chocolate and pastries, and definitely not least, the brightly decorated tree in the corner of the room accompanied by walls, doors, and furniture adorned with garlands, wreaths, and so forth.

*Knock* *knock*

The sound of someone knocking at the front door captured the attention of those closest to it; Killjoy and Harbor. Giving a quiet huff, Harbor got up and approached the door. He was just mentally preparing for the cold gust of wind to hit him. As he twisted and pulled the doorknob, the expected snowy air hit his face, but the doorway was also accompanied by none other than Sage.

"Oh jeez, you made it! Get in here, quick! It's cold as hell out there." He said as he backed up just enough for the aforementioned woman to come in with a load of gift bags with her. But to Harbor's surprise, Reyna walked in right after the healer with even more gift bags.

As the pair entered the now warmer atmosphere, others began to greet them with either a smile, hand gestures, a confirming nod, or physically getting up and walking to them. One of those people being Fade and Neon, though, Neon was practically dragging the other woman with her.

"I'm surprised you guys didn't die out there. I definitely would've." Neon started initiating conversation, as Sage was getting her shoes off and Reyna stood to the side waiting patiently.

Fade looked over at Reyna and paused for a split second. A slightly confused yet surprised look took its place on her face as she nudged Neon's arm besides her. In response, the blue haired woman turned to look at whatever Fade was narrowing her attention to, and she too was surprised.

"Wow.. Reyna got us gifts..?" Said woman asked, tilting her head in confusion, unsure if she should be thankful for the once-in-a-lifetime action or worried if the presents held other things.

Reyna rolled her eyes almost instantaneously, but Sage chuckled aloud. "That'd be quite a sight to see, wouldn't it?" Leaving a still confused Neon standing with a dumbfounded face.

"These are all the gifts I got for you all." Sage said as she carried her load of bags and presents past Fade and Neon and headed towards the Christmas tree. Reyna followed behind as fast as she could so as to avoid any more questions the others had for her. She had to admit, she was a little embarrassed. But, not too much. Who would be embarrassed about helping their lover?

Once Sage got to the tree, she placed the bags under and turned to Reyna to help her place hers down as well.

"So, mi amor, what shall we do first?" Reyna hummed as she placed a bag or two neatly next to the other ones.

"Mmmh, I want to see if there's anything left to prepare." Sage responded, nearly finishing.

"Do you.. want me to help?" Reyna paused in between her words as she asked.

All Sage did was laugh in surprise and because it was heart-warming. Reyna turned back to where the healer was heading, near the kitchen, and watched, confused if her answer was a yes or no.

But, that was answered not even a second later as Sage turned around and held her hand out, gesturing for the woman to follow. Almost instantly, Reyna sped walked towards her and followed.

"You know, Reyna is like a puppy sometimes." Breach laughed, sitting with one leg on the other and a cup of coffee in his hand.

Raze and Killjoy turned their heads in response, somewhat furrowing their eyebrows. "Ya, say that twice and you'll find yourself 6 feet in the ground!" Killjoy semi-jokingly said, whilst Raze rolled her eyes with a smirk.
