"I found him." Eleven stated just as the older teen began to stir awake.
"Where is he?" Max questioned.
"Woods" the girl simply stated, Eden tried to open her eyes but shut them quickly once the light made contact with her iris.
"Woods?" The red head almost scoffed, Eden could hear TV static in the background.
"He's with.. Will's mom."
"My-my mom?" Will piped up, Eden letting out a small groan. Could these kids shut up?
"What are they doing?"
"Ill.. annoy." Eleven made the word sound foreign with the way she spoke, "they're going to ill-annoy."
There was a sudden knock at a distant door and the familiar voice of Ms. Wheeler sounded, "Mike, breakfast!"
"Now now mom!" The teen boy shouted back, Eden let out a hiss at his loud tone.
"Oh you're awake." Max suddenly adverted her attention to the older teen, as the rest of the group tried to figure out what ill-annoy was."Yeah, unfortunately." She sighed out, grabbing her pounding head as she sat up.
"Does it hurt?" The smaller girl wondered, staring at her head.
"I mean, I got knocked the hell out. Of course it still hurts." Eden let out a slightly sarcastic laugh, instantly regretting the sudden movement from standing from the couch so quickly.
The teenager walked into the open bathroom, flicking on the harsh light as the kids watched with little to no attention. They found out they were talking about going to Illinois for whatever reason, Joyce and whoever they were trying to find. Eden studied her appearance in the foggy mirror, she looked rough. Her forehead had a big purple and green splotch due to bruising, and a wide gash that spilled blood down the side of her face. It looked like it was just beginning to fully close, so she tried not to touch.
She did, however, wet a wash cloth and got as much blood off her face as possible. It looked like she'd been a victim of an attempted murder. I mean, if we're being real, she technically was one. Max and El joined her side to help clean off her face and filled in all the details. Eleven basically beat the hell out of Billy in the end. She had a huge purple handprint from Billy holding her up, attempting to kill her, she was sure. Max also got scolding for driving her precious car back to Mike's without adult supervision.
"So uh, this things really got Billy." She whispered, almost afraid to be told what she already knew.
"We're going to get it out of him. I promise.. we'll find a way." Max assured the older teen, placing her own hand upon hers.
"They're conspiring against me." All three of the girls suddenly heard from Mike and gave each other a look.
"That's what you're worried about now?" Lucas scoffed.
"It's not my main concern. It's just a sub concern."
"I thought it was already over."
"It's not over okay? We're just taking a break." Mike suddenly defended himself.
"She said she dumped your ass." Lucas pointed out, matter-of-factly.
"That doesn't sound like a break." Will butted in.
"It wasn't!" Max yelled through the door as Eden stared at eleven with wide eyes and her jaw dropped, mouthing "you dumped Mike?"
"It was bad ass too." Max turned and mumbled before opening the door, "you do realize we can hear everything you're saying, right?"
