It didn't take Eden long to get home, and when she did she was relieved that no one else occupied the trailer. Eddie was probably at Reefer Rick's, and Wayne was of course working. She let out a sigh as she unlocked the door, placing her keys on the table right beside the door. The first place she went was the kitchen, to fill a glass with water and find the ibuprofen stashed away in one of the cabinets.

Once she succeeded in finding the pills, she popped 2 in her mouth as quick as possible. To say her head was killing her was an understatement. She was sure she had a concussion. The next place she went was her bathroom, to inspect her head further the bruising had since spread, covering a majority of her forehead and the bump protruded off her head about a quarter of an inch. Blood crusted in her hair and she decided right then and there, she'd never looked worse in her life.

After taking a quick shower, exhaustion took the girl over. The only thing stopping her from falling over was the fact that she might have a concussion, and it was well known that you're not supposed to sleep until you know for sure. She also remembered she needed to find her walkie talkie and switch it to channel 6. After finding it in the depths of her closet, she quickly switched out the batteries and turned it on. Static filled the room, until channel 6 was on.

"Eden! Eden! God dammit come in!" It was evident at who was talking by the attitude.

"Max? What's going on?" The girl fixed her posture, now worried at the persistence.

"Jesus christ didn't i tell you to turn it to channel 6 right when you got home? We've got a code red!" The redhead sighed.

"I had to take a shower, my head is killing me. What's a code red?" Eden sighed back.

"Emergency, code red, same damn thing. Nancy and Jonathan got attacked by Tom Holloway and Bruce Lowe before they turned into that- that human mush shit because eleven kicked their asses." Tired screeched on the other end of the radio.

"What's going on now?" The older girl was already pulling on shoes, assuming that she was about to be pulled back into this crazy situation.

"We're going to Hopper's cabin. El has to try and find where the flayed are going. It just keeps multiplying, we have to stop it."

"I'm on my way. Wait- where's hoppers cabin?"

After getting directions and trying not to get lost on the way, Eden finally made it to a small rundown cabin in the middle of the woods. It was eerie and she suddenly regretted agreeing to meet up with the children again. This whole situation was beyond insane and hard to comprehend. As Eden stepped into the cabin she was immediately pulled into a tough conversation.

"Okay can you guys settle an argument for us? Who do you think should decide El's limit?  Mike or eleven?" Max suddenly barked.

"The way that you frame that is such bullshit!" Mike scoffed.

"It's not bullshit, Mike. That's your whole problem! And it's also precisely the reason she dumped your ass!" Eden let out a whistle at the girls outburst.

They continued to argue back and forth, Nancy and the others joining in as well. It was then brought up that the girls, Max and El, spied on the boys and that was a whole other argument in itself.

"I'm just trying to demonstrate how carless Max is with El's powers, in fact how careless all of you are with them! You're treating her like some kind of machine when she's not a machine. I don't want her to die looking for the flayed, when they're obviously vanished off the face of the earth. So can we please just come up with a new plan, because I love her and I can't lose her again!" The boy suddenly burst, causing everyone to shut up and their eyes to widen.
