3rd POV
Sam and Colby start quickly walking from backstage and down the side stairs, as they were walking, Colby's arm was still around Sam, not just to comfort him but also to make sure nothing else happens to him. "BANG!!!" The guys hear a loud sound that made them freeze in their tracks. They did not turn their heads, terrified that something was trying to get their attention. Sam could not help but think that something was coming after him and did not want him to leave the theatre. Colby without a second thought, scared that something could happen to his friend he grabs Sam's wrist rather aggressively and starts to pull him. With every second that goes by they can't help but feel as if something was following them. "Bum Bump Bum Bump!" The boy's hearts start to beat so fast they themselves could hear it. As they get closer to the exit Colby starts to walk faster and faster until he was running, pulling Sam behind him. They get outside and Colby lets go of Sam's wrist and closes the door quickly as if trying to stop something from coming out. Both are breathing heavily and are bent over forwards trying to catch their breathe.
Colby's POV
I look up at Sam to see him shaking, it looked as if he was about to have a panic attack. I start to feel extremely worried for him "Are you okay?" I walk over to him and put my hand on his back rubbing it in small circles so that way I can try to comfort him. "Dude that was scary as f*ck!" Sam said as he looked at me with his blue eyes wide open sitting up to show he was okay. "It honestly was. I have never seen anyone get pulled like you just did!" I sounded excited but deep down I was terrified for my friend. What did this mean? Did something attach itself to Sam again? All these thoughts start running through my mind where I did not notice Sam was staring at me and calling my name. "Colby... Colby!" he shouted and grabbed my shoulder. "Oh yeah, sorry. What did you say again?" I looked at him as we both begin to walk towards the truck "Do you think we caught that on the camera?" Sam looked at me excited, but I saw something in his eyes that said otherwise. "No idea dude. The camera was recording but you were off on the side idk if it got you pulled down." I looked at the camera that I was holding, curious if we really did get some amazing evidence. We walked to the truck, and I put the backpack and other equipment in the back seat.
I got into the driver's seat and looked out the passenger window to see Sam looking at the theatre we just left, as if he was hypnotized "Sam!" I yelled while rolling down the window. "You coming?" I asked worried about what was going through his mind. Sam just nodded and opened the door. He stopped and looked at the theatre before getting into the passenger seat. I started the truck and looked out the window than at Sam. He was looking down at his hands like he was trying to process what had just happened to him. I feel like I need to do something to take his mind off of it but I did not know what to do in this situation, should I comfort him and talk about what happened? Or should I just joke it off like we always do? I put the car in gear and started to leave the parking lot. I glance over at Sam who was looking into the mirror at the theatre that was now fading into the background. I can't help but think that tonight just changed Sam's life forever.
While driving I look over at Sam who was still staring out the window. "Soooo how are things going with Kat?" I asked to get Sam's mind on something else and knowing we have been gone from home for about a week. Sam sighed and began to stretch. His shirt goes up a little bit where I can see the lower part of his stomach. I could not help but stare because Sam has always had such fair skin. Once he was done stretching, I looked up at him waiting for an answer to my question. "Everything is fine, I guess. She is focused on her music, and I am focused on all our stuff." He groaned and looked at his phone. I was worried for him. Not just because what had just happened but with all the traveling we have been doing, getting ready for hell week and starting season 3, we were both really stressed out and this just took the cherry on top. It was only 12 in morning when we got to the hotel. Because what happened at the theatre we had to leave early, so now we are both wide awake contemplating what to do now.
