Recap

Colby's POV

I can't let go of Sam....I don't want to let go of him. I hug him tighter, terrified for his safety and well-being. I feel him move. I let go and look at him. His face was bright red and his eyes looked sunken in. I could tell he was exhausted. "Are you okay?" I ask while staring at him. He looks up at me with dead eyes studying my face like I was studying his. I look down at his lips and without thinking I begin to move my face in. I see Sam slowly closing his eyes and I begin to close mine "Are we about to...kiss?".

Present time

Colby's POV

We're sitting on the bed facing each other as our heads come closer together, I can feel Sam's light breath on my lips. His eyes are closed and mine begin to. I move my hand up behind Sam's head, holding it. I softly kiss Sam's lips and I feel Sam kiss back. I can feel my heartbeat and my blood run hot. I have no idea what I am doing, but I can not seem to stop. This is my friend, someone who I grew up with since middle school. Someone I succeeded with and have been through many trials with. But he is also someone I never want to lose. Someone who I care about and have had feelings for, for a while. This is something I want and if it is something that Sam wants as well then, I am going to show him how I feel.

My hand slowly goes up Sam's back. I rest it on the exposed flesh where I feel a series of bumps forming. I slowly glide across them, my hand going higher on his bare back. I begin to kiss deeper, letting go of my control. My mind begins to go numb from all this new sensation that I was feeling. Not just physically but emotionally, I have always wanted this. My hand lightly grips Sam's hair causing a little groan to escape his throat, this caused me to move Sam's upper body closer to mine. Our bodies are now pressed together, and I can feel the heat from us rise.

Sam begins to lift himself from the bed with our lips still locked together as if no force can tear them apart, he gently but firmly pushes me down causing me to lean onto the bed. Sam slowly moved on top of me, and I began to breathe heavier as Sam glided his warm hand down my chest moving to the side and going down gripping my waistline. My hand ventures down Sam's back and onto his front where I feel his stomach and the curves outlining muscle, my hand proceeds to go further down caressing his lower abdomen. Sam opened his mouth faintly and began to breathe heavily showing he was losing control as well.

I looked into Sam's steel blue eyes that seemed to reflect like a pool where I could see myself in them, I was becoming enthralled. I need to say something, but what should I say in a situation like this? I slightly open my mouth "Sam, I..." Before I could say anything, Sam's tongue is now in contact with mine. My eyes widen from the shock of this sudden action. Sam looks at me as if he is looking into my soul trying to figure out what my feelings are towards him. I close my eyes, scared he might see the truth, our tongues begin to dance the night away. At this moment, nothing mattered. Only him and I, and the passion we were experiencing together. I never want this to end.

3rd POV

Colby is at the front desk returning the room keys as Sam is putting the carry-on bags into the truck. "Did you enjoy your stay?" the front desk clerk asked Colby while smiling. Colby stops and stares at the ground for a second before he snapped back "Uh... yeah, some of it" he gently smiles out of respect and waves goodbye. He goes outside and walks towards the truck where Sam has the back door open and is organizing the bags. Colby freezes in his tracks and looks at the blonde boy whose back was facing him. He gulps and starts to walk keeping his eyes on the driver's side, so he doesn't stare at Sam. "Are you ready?" Colby asks while staring at the ground under Sam's feet, his hand is resting on the door handle. Sam doesn't say a word, he was frozen in place not knowing what to do or say.

Suddenly, Sam slams the door causing Colby to flinch a little. "Yeah, let's go," Sam says in a low voice not even looking in Colby's direction. Sam goes around the truck and quickly gets in the passenger seat and immediately puts in his headphones. Colby sighs and is left staring at the spot where Sam was just standing, he slowly gets in the driver's side, his heart sinking with every move. Colby puts his seatbelt on and glances over at Sam who was on his phone and loudly playing music through his headphones. Colby turns his head to look at the steering wheel, he starts the truck. Sam looks over at Colby who was now pulling out of the parking lot. Sam immediately looks away so Colby doesn't spot him. They begin to go down the highway having about 2 hours till they get to the Driskill Hotel in Austin. Realizing this Sam puts his phone down and sighs. He looks out the window where he can slightly see Colby and can't help but stare at his reflection.
