The landing sucked. Not only did you smash your face into Bakugo's shoulder, but when rolling along the ground, his entire stupid body laid on you, back first. Thankfully, he wasn't smushing you on your bad knee, but you did kick him off you the second you could.
You took a breather. Laying down on the ground with your eyes closed and inhaling as much air as you could. It hit you like a brick. Now that you weren't fighting for your life, the lack of sleep for the past days, your knee, your useless ability to not use your quirk, the truth of what happened to your parents, the fact your brother was not dead and instead a villain who is very much alive and trying to kill you.
And Dabi- how were you supposed to tell Todoroki? Do you tell him? Stop caring, this isn't your issue. But I know the problem. No, I can't just randomly say a person's 'dead' sibling is alive, it's Endeavour's kid as well. I'm not even taking Hisa being alive and a villain so well. The heroes should know, it'll help them...no matter what the toll is on Todoroki, the heroes should know...right?
"Hey! Hey!" You just realised your body was being shaken. Snapping your eyes open, you grabbed on tightly to Bakugo's wrist, stopping him from shaking you. "Calm down, you were breathing too fast."
"I'm fine." Your voice cracked, which took you a moment to clear. Letting go of your grip on the blond, you sat up, groaning from your knee.
"Uh, Y/n, not to worry you or anything...but I can see your bone." Midoriya couldn't take his eyes away from your knee.
"Really? You can se- I can feel it." You put emphasis on the word. Midoriya went to speak again, but when he opened his mouth, no words came out. You sighed and pushed yourself off the ground, scrunching your face up when you placed too much pressure on your leg.
"Well, it's okay." Kirishima smiled, but you were slightly distracted by the horn things on his head. "You can just use your quirk until we get some help."
"I can't." You hold up your wrist. "This is stopping me, and believe me I've tried to...take it...offf." You squinted your eyes at Kirishima, an idea popping into mind. "Punch the bracelet with your quirk."
"Wait, what? No, I'll hurt you." He shook his head and raised his hands up, his smile disappearing instantly.
"Eijiro Kirishima." He just blinked a lot when you said his full name. "You can not possibly fathom the idea of the longing I have for the use age of my stupid fucking quirk right now. It is either punching it to break, or I'm cutting my hand off."
"Point taken." Kirishima stepped forward, activating his quirk with his fist formed.
"Wait! As much as I do not condone this, Y/n, place your arm against a wall so you don't damaged your hand so much." Iida was quick to talk, getting up from his own spot in the corner. You gave him a look. "Just do it. As your class rep, I must make sure you are safe."
"Oh please." You groaned and limped away to the wall, whipping your head sharply at the glasses boy. "You just wanted to see me limp away, didn't you."
"Hold still." Kirishima's face contorted into one of pain as he raised his fist, eying your arm. Instead of looking away like a normal person, you decided it was best that you look directly at the point of impact.
As his fist slammed into your arm, the bracelet stayed intact and barely got a scratch. You, however, screamed an unholy amount of curses as you held your wrist close to your body, your face twisting in pain.
"Ah! I'm so sorry! No! I knew this would happen! I'm so sorry!" Kirishima erupted into a apologetic frenzy.
"No." You squeezed out verbal response that wasn't slurs. "Good...good form...nice punch."
"Y/n can you stand?" Midoriya walked forward, a more determined look on his face. You returned with a look that said 'what the fuck do you think I'm doing right now?' and clearly he got the message. "Bakugo, Kirishima, help her walk, we need to get away from here."
Kirishima didn't hesitate to step forward and offer his help. Bakugo started to go on about how he didn't need to be told what to do, but went along with it anyway.
"I don't need help to walk." You scoffed, brushing Kirishima's helpful hand away. Looks of doubt flew across the boys faces. "Alri- Ugh! Fine."
You gave in and allowed for the red head and blond to help you. Kirishima helping your left side and Bakugo helping your right side. You lifted your right leg up a small bit. It seemed as if there was no comfortable way to possibly stand. You practically hopped along instead of walking.
Midoriya called Todoroki and Yao-Momo, because they were also doing slightly illegal stuff as well. You weren't stupid. You knew damn well that none of the heroes knew they were out. And by the looks of their getup, they were hiding as well.
"Hey, what's- Oh mY gOD!" Kirishima was suddenly startled and almost jumped back. In confusion you whipped your head to face him, only to find his eyes were on your thigh. In even more confusion, you looked down to see the pocket knife from earlier still in your thigh.
"Oh." You unwrapped your hand from Kirishima's neck and pulled the knife. It was a lot smaller than you expected.
"He- No! Don't pull it out!"
As the 5 of you made your way through the crowd, you eventually started to get more and more tired. Your blinking was lagged and in one eye you'd blink for longer. You raise your eyebrows trying to keep them open, but it didn't feel like it did much.
You could feel your head bopping and sleep starting to hit you, but you refused to sleep. You had to get out of here. Your right leg started to fall back down to the ground, and every time it did, you would tense up and hiss at the pain. This didn't go unnoticed.
"Y/n, are you okay? You look a little tired." Kirishima said, a look of concern washing over his face.
"I'm not tired." You lie as you struggle to keep your head up.
"You didn't sleep at all. It's been two days, you are tired." Bakugo expression was unreadable. He just looked forward with this look on his face as he spoke. "You said we take turns."
You thought back to this.
"Listen, someone has to keep watch just in case the villains try something while we sleep. I cannot possibly sleep right now. If I get tried, I'll wake you up." You said in low whisper.
"No, I'll do it first. You're injured, you have to sleep."
"Why are you acting like this? It's because of this injury that I'm wide awake. I can see your eye bags, so just sleep."
"I told you if I get tired." You corrected him. "And I clearly didn't get tired."
"Yeah, because your not seconds away from sleeping." He scoffed. You were about to say something, but a loud noise from the tv distracted you.
All eyes looked up as they watched All Might and All for One battle it out in the ruins of Kamino Ward. But the second you stopped moving, you were out like a light.
I'm sorry for the shitty chapter, but I kinda had to rush through this since I had a lot of future chapters written down. We are 49 chapters in, and not a single mention of any romance. I'm a sucker for slow burns.
Yn when she had to great idea to make Kirishima punch her wrist with his quirk on.
