You have 19 stitches in your shoulder. A lot of bruises and scratches all over your body, and a days rest until you were allowed to go back to school. You had slept through half the day before you woke up, so everyone had already left to go back to school. Aizawa, Mirko and Eri were left in the hospital.
Sir Nighteye, the man who you only saw briefly had passed away when you were in surgery. You never got to thank him. And Eri was still in an unconscious state.
"What about you?" You tilted your head to face Aizawa. "You were stabbed weren't you?"
"I have ten stitches." He said dully. He kinda seemed like a person who doesn't talk about themselves.
"Ha, I beat you by nine." You coped with humor, so this was perfect for you. "When Eri wakes up, can I see her? If she's surrounded by machines and people she's never seen, she might freak out."
"She's in quarantine. I can't allow you to do that." Aizawa shook his head.
"Then I won't listen to to you. Is she freaks out, and her quirk appears with a doctor, she'll only feel more guilty. Weather you allow it or not, I'm going to be with her. I wasn't asking permission, I was more or less informing you." You added quickly. Aizawa sighed and looked up at the fan in the ceiling.
"If Eri wakes up and her quirk activates, I'll be there to stop it." He turned to look at you, still seeing the determined look on your face. He thought you stubborn. "But you can be presence if she wakes in the next day."
You felt happy with yourself and leaned back in the hospital bed. You were relaxed until you heard the door spring open.
"Y/n L/N," Mirko was here now. Apparently she was at the raid, but you never saw her. "You fucking lucky bitch."
"Yeah, I'll leave." Aizawa stood up, raising his hand as a goodbye.
Mirko took his seat and grabbed your hand. "You are lucky to be alive."
In response, you gave her a cheeky smile. "Daily affirmations."
"You never stopped fighting." Mirko was a little more serious now, making you serious as well. "I'm proud of you for that. If there is no other ending, and your going to die- then get the job done first...Don't give up. A hero never gives up."
You knew she wasn't telling you to die in every villain raid or attack you go through. She wanted you to do the very best you could. You gave her a firm look and nodded. She gave you a smile.
"I'm proud of you, kiddo. You did good." This time it wasn't awkward. You ended up smiling sheepishly at her comment. "But as soon as you get your ass all fix up, I'm bringing you straight back and we are training you till you collapse."
"Can't wait."
The next day, you were discharged from the hospital. Eri hadn't woken up yet, but you've written her a card and left it by her window. The police had some questions for you, so you didn't get back to the dorm until sundown. It was around 7pm, so the class should just be having dinner.
You walked up to the door and hovered over the handle for a moment. What the hell were you supposed to do when you walked inside? What would the class do? You shook your head, shaking away the thoughts that popped into it.
You grabbed the door handle and opened the door, walking into the well lit room. You presence was known instantly.
"Y/n!" Kirishima stood up from his chair. "Your back!"
Kirishima was in the hospital as well, but you didn't see him at all, as he was covered in injuries himself. The boy looked alright now. The red-head rushed over and squeezed you in a hug.
