"Alright, I take these two." You tapped Eri's hand as you were playing chopsticks with you. Even though she claims to have never played the game before, she won every single round. You have given up pretending to lose, you were pathetically losing to a six year old.

"I win again!" She raises her hands in the air as all you lost once more. "This is really fun"

"For you yeah." You stared at your hand. "How have you won every time?" As you looked at her own hands, you saw the bandages being to loosen. "Oh, your bandage. Come 'ere."

You scooted closer and started to wrapped them better and neater. "Hey, Eri." You started. "I understand you've been here for a long time...but if you don't mind me asking, where is your family?"

"I don't think i really have one anyone."  She spoke slowly and quietly.

You hesitated in her bandages for a moment. "I don't really have one anymore either." You smiled to her.

"What happened?" Her face turned into one of curiosity. You gave in instantly.

"Well, my parents were heroes. They were loved and admired by many people, and they helped so many thought their lives." You smiled faintly at the ghosts of memories you had left of them. "But I also had a brother. He was very angry at all heroes and my parents, and when I was only your age, I was driving over a bridge with my family, and a villain started to attack. My parents died saving lives. My brother died as well, he turned himself into a villain."

"I then went to live with my uncle. He was fun and he was a good man. He passed away due to my brother as well. So, I'm sort of alone." Those last words felt like a lie. You weren't truely alone. "Well, not really. I'd say my class is...is my something family. They... I probably treat them worse than they deserve."

"Well, if you see them again, maybe apologise." This child was six and basically a philosopher.

You smiled and let out the smallest chuckle. "Yeah, maybe I should."

"And..." Eri looked to her arm then back to you. "We both don't have families...so why don't we be each other's?"

You blinked, not in a mocking way like you usually do, but in a surprised way. "A family?"

"Yeah, we can be sisters! I think it'll be cool to have an older sister." She said sheepishly. "Do you wanna be my sister?"

A family. The one thing I've  longed for my entire life. The one thing missing.

Your lip trembled for a moment, but you pushed back the tears. "Yeah. I'd love to be your sister."

She surprised you with a hug, none which you returned. "We'll be the best family, ever."

You hugged her tighter, fighting back tears. You never thought such words would have an impact on you. You've known this little girl for around a week, and you would give your life for her. You were almost happy you got kidnapped again, just so you could meet this precious being.

You heard the girl yawn, so you slightly broke the hug and looked down to her. "Come on, I'll tuck you in."

You held her hand as you walked over to her bed, she put herself in and you tucked in the sheets around her. Knowing boundaries and that she warned you of her quirk, you layer your head on the bed, but Eri never let go of your hand.

"Do you think you can really get us out of here?" Eri's whisper broke through the silence.

"...I won't stop trying." And that was a promise. Your arms and legs grew bruises on them as you tried to break open the door that was sealed shut.
