Being back with Mirko was awesome. You missed her a lot, and you could really use the leg exercises she does for your knee to get it back into proper shape. However, she, as a top hero, was busy. She made a lot of time for you, but you often had to go on patrols alone or with another one of her side kicks.
But, now that you were with a hero license she let you have a lot more freedom. You were currently just patrolling a apart of a town with an unbelievably low crime rate. A lot of the locals, smiled at you or waved. You were getting a little sweaty in the suit, and deciding on how you could alter that factor when you felt something bump into you.
There was a trash can from the alleyway that was rolled over and out of place. You scoffed, licked it up and went to put it back in its place, but a much more pressing matter rose.
In the shadows of the alleyway, you just saw the silhouette of man hitting a much smaller figure. You narrowed your eyes, and hid behind a large garbage bin, holding the intercomm which was located at your ear. With narrow eyes, you watch carefully at the scene.
"Mirko, I got physical abuse to a minor on-" Before you finished your hushed whisper of a call, you were interpreted.
"Excuse me, but I don't like to have eavesdroppers." It was the voice of a young man coming from the direction of the situation.
Shit.
You revealed yourself from your hiding spot. "Sir, I saw you hitting the-" you looked over at the victim, identifying it was a young girl. "The little girl. I've called it in, and I'll need you to follow me back to the-"
"Your lying. You saw wrong. I didn't hit anyone." He was very defensive.
"I don't give a shit. Follow me or I'll drag you back." You have given up on patience.
The man sighed, and as he stepped forward you could see he had a mask over his face. "You know, Eri." Was that the name of the girl? "There is a reason you can't go up here."
The man took off a glove, the young girl who had to be only 5 or 6 gasped and stood up quickly. Horror in her eyes, but it was directed at you. Your heart rate quickened.
"It's because this will always happen."
It was over quickly. But you could feel it. You felt your body tear apart, every fibre and every cell tear from each other. You felt your body dive into black and then there was nothing for a moment.
You jumped off the ground in a sweaty clump of a mess. The location changed. You weren't in the alleyway anyone. In fact, you didn't even look like you were outside anyone. You were in a dimly lit room surrounded by freaky girls toys that have been unopened and were collecting dust.
You were in a cold sweat and your breath was too fast for your own good. Your hands left the ground and started to last your body down. You were back again. You were torn apart, you were one piece. But feeling etching different, you looked down and saw you were no longer in your own clothes. Your hero costume, wherever it may be, wasn't on you anyone. You were in a slightly ripped baggy top and sweatpants that were clean enough.
Somebody changed your clothes. You were torn apart, but your in one piece. Your not in the alleyway any more. On your wrist were the same stupid cuffs that stopped you from using your quirk. You cursed under your breath.
"Are you okay?" A very small voice called out. It had to be a young girls voice. You whipped your head around, ignoring the dizziness and the headache. "I'm so sorry."
