This is the 69th chapter...you like the title??? Pls get my humor.
You never thought there could be a day where you wished it would be over with the moment you woke up. Possibly on the day of your parents, your brothers and your uncle's funeral, but this just felt worse.
The next week, a few days before the festival, the school allowed the parents of each child to come collectively to be with their kid and to then have a parent-teacher interview. But, there was a slight downfall to that.
Surprise surprise, you don't have anyone left in your family other than a psychopathic brother who wants to kill you. :D
So, when the following Saturday arrived, and you lay awake in your bed for at least 20 minutes with your alarm screaming in your ear, you listed all the possibilities you could find a way to unalive yourself for the day. Spoiler alert, you never got to do any of them.
It seemed like the day couldn't end quick enough. When the clock struck 1pm, it seemed like the seconds went on for hours, the minutes into years, the hour into an eternity. You stayed in your room with Uggie, but even he wanted to leave since he was scratching at your bedroom door.
"Fine, but only a quick walk." You sighed and hung your head, grabbing his leash and opening the door. He stayed by your ankles as you walked down the stairs, stopping before you entered the wide space of teachers, students and parents.
You eyed the exit, narrowing your eyes at it. "Alright buddy, go as quiet as you can."
Uggie seemed to actually listen to you, and did his best to be quiet. You managed to get past the door and out the dorm. You chuckled and smiled to yourself, putting the leash on Uggie no walking around the campus.
You were gone for about 7 minutes before you entered an open field in the trees of the forest campus. With the ball you just so happened to have, you threw it for Uggie, using your quirk to go wide distances. As you were peacefully enjoying the time you were spending alone, you heard a small rustle in the bush behind you. You turned and saw none other than Shinsou himself.
"Thought I'd find you here." He said as he held the very same ball you threw for Uggie. Said dog was trotting behind him, only staring at the ball. "This Uggie?"
"Yep." You told him all about Uggie, but he never got the chance to met him until now. "Did he attack you yet?"
He shook his head, making you slightly annoyed Uggie didn't instantly run at him and tackle him to the ground like the dog does to most people. You bent down, your hands on your knees as you looked at Uggie with faked disappointment.
"Bad dog." You pouted, but he barked happily at you just before Shinsou threw his ball and Uggie dashed for it.
"Heard you pr class was doing a concert. How's that going?" Shinsou had his hands in his pockets as he looked down at the ground.
"As well as you think it's going. I barely get any sleep." You noted how he wasn't with his mother since she was meant to come today. He mentioned he was raised solely by his mother, so his stupid father was out of the question. "Your mother?"
"She's a nurse, so she's got a tight schedule." He sighed, looking up, but his shoulders were tense. "Left a few minutes ago."
It was only 2pm, so she only stayed an hour. You made a line with your mouth as you nodded, looking back over as Uggie came running back with the ball in his mouth.
"Well, you know about me." You sighed as you grabbed Uggie's ball from his mouth and threw it, the dog chasing after it. "I got myself a bunch of parents and grandparents and aunts and uncles waiting for me..."
