Kim is almost ready to leave her apartment, get in the car and go to the concert that Mick invited her to.
She checks her makeup in her mirror dresser. She curls her brown hair in loose curls. She wears a black t-shirt with a black biker jacket with ankle-length leather pants.
Her friend, Michelle, must be here soon. But it seems that she is late. Strange for her because she was very excited to come. Maybe Michelle has a problem. Kim will call her in a few minutes to see if she is still at home.
With all the thrill of going to see Mick, still she can't get her mother out of her mind.
Liz tried to make her change her mind and not go to the concert. But in vain.
Kim has her fixed plans in mind, and no one and nothing can change them.
Liz even visited her daughter at her apartment some time ago, still attempting to get her not to go to the concert.
Her mother can no longer makes plans for her daughter, concludes Kim. She has her own adult life now, and young woman has to take it into her own hands. She's an adult now. She is no longer that helpless child who had to deal with challenging problems.
The phone is ringing.
Kim gets up, strolling to her bedside table and raises the receiver to her ear.
Kim: "Hello?"
???: "Hey, Kim. That's Michelle."
Kim: "Oh, hey girl. What's up? You're not here yet. I wanted to call you."
Michelle: "I'm sorry girl but something happened. I can't go to the concert with you anymore."
Kim: "Oh... I hope it's nothing serious."
Michelle: "It's about my mom. It's not something very serious. But I have to be with her. I hope you understand."
Kim: "Of course I understand, girl. Take care. See you tomorrow."
Michelle: "Take care too. I can't wait for you to tell me everything that will happen there!"
Kim: "Ok, girl, smiles Kim. See you soon. Bye."
Michelle: "Bye."
The brunette slowly put down the receiver, sighing. She has in mind that Michelle would also come with her. Plans have changed.
Nevertheless this will not kill her interest and impatience to go to the concert. To see Mick. Because that's what she's more interested in. To see him.
She turns to the mirror and applies bright red lipstick on her lips, as her thoughts rush to him. Will Mick think she looks pretty when he sees her?
When she was with him in her mother's office, just them alone, he made her feel so peaceful. He made her feel like herself. Kim felt that she could tell him anything.
Did he feel the same way when they talked? She may find out more tonight.
And now she can't believe that she will go to the concert.
She nonchalantly leaves the apartment and gets into the car, driving to the place where the concert is taking place.
She wakes up in the crowd that came to see the concert. She stays in the first row and can see everything so easily.
Mick sent her a front row ticket. So cheeky. To see her better.
On the stage, she immediately catches sight of Mick, who stops his gaze at her and smiles as he plays the guitar.
He and the rest of his bandmates perform, and after the concert ends, Kim doesn't see Mick anymore.
All her sadness dissipates when a tall and massive man appears to her, one of the guards, who tells her that she is expected in the backstage.
