The next morning I found myself up before the sun, too excited to sleep a moment longer. I took a shower, washed my face, did my hair, put on lotion and makeup, and brushed my teeth. Once I was dressed and ready, I set out into town.
Dew was still fresh on the ground, and the air was a crisp, pleasant breeze. It was too early on the morning to be very hot, and the sun was rising beautifully over the rural horizons. I figured I would go on a walk for a bit, and once people were out and about, I would go see more residential areas of maycomb, hopefully in search of a home.
I slung my crochet purse over my shoulder, feeling the contents slide around as I did. I carried with me some chapstick, my wallet, a bit of first aid, some random clutter, and rolled up pinup photos of myself.
Yes, Though I was ashamed, I did pinup. Quite a lot of it before I moved. I needed the money, alright? Now I carried it with me just in case I may need to sell some, or promote myself in the pinup world.
I don't know, I've never done anything like this before, I'll be honest, I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing.
How do I buy a house? No clue, I'll just have to ask for help. It was around 6am now, and I decided to get some coffee and something to eat before heading back out in search of a house.

"Calpurniaaa!" I whined, as our housekeeper scrubbed vigorously at my syrup-covered face.

"Well if you weren't such a messy eater I wouldn't have to scrub you clean every mornin'!" She reasoned

I huffed, giving in to her harsh cleaning. There was no point in fighting with calpurnia, I had learned that the hard way many times.
Before I knew it, calpurnia took my shirt from over my head and stripped me to my dressing clothes underneath, before shoving a clean shirt back over my head.
I moved hair out of my face quickly, before she buckled me into my overalls and ripped the hair right from my head. Well. Brushed it. But it sure felt like she was scalping me.

"Go on and brush your teeth now scout, and tell your daddy bye. It's about 8:30 and he's leavin' soon."

I ran off to the bathroom and nearly ran IN to Jem, who was sluggishly standing in front of the mirror getting ready.
For a few minutes I stood there patiently, waisitng for him, but he didn't seem to be doing anything, he was moving so slow I thought he might have been dying right there.

I wiggled around him and grabbed my toothbrush and began brushing my teeth.

"Scout, move, you're all on me." Jem grumbled

"Am jus bruffing my teef!" I responded, as best I could while brushing.

"Well just wait a minute for me to be done!" He said, already annoyed

"Calpurnia said I needta bruff my teef firfst! I wanna go an play!"

"Well go do it somewhere else!" He snapped.

I sighed, and finished brushing my teeth outside.

"Stupid Jem." I muttered as I wiped my mouth on my arm.

Once I put my toothbrush away and gave atticus a hug and a kiss, I ran outside and hopped off the back porch, looking out at the land. What would I do now?
After a few swings in my tire swing, I decided to walk up to miss mauides land to check it out. I was midway to miss Maudie's when I saw something I hadn't seen in my whole life.
A woman I had never seen before. She kinda reminded me of miss Caroline, she was young, and pretty. This was my time to be big, and introduce myself. I could make whatever impression I wanted.
     I marched up to the strange woman and made myself as tall as I could, I took a deep breath, and said;

"Who the hell are you?"
