My door was suddenly thrown open causing Luke and I both to jump. Jacaerys ran into the room eagerly with an out of breath Joffrey behind.

"Mothers going into labor." Jace announced. I jumped up from my bed as did Luke and ran through the hallways. I could hear her screams from down the hall as Luke, Jace, and I ran into the room. We did not wish for Joffrey to see such a sight.

"Mother?" Jace gasped in fear as the three of us approached the maester.

"Fuck." My mother cursed in pain clutching a nearby pillar. The cold breeze from the ocean could be felt from her open balcony that looked out to the sea.

"Princess." Maester Gerardys announced trying to get our mothers attention as she leaned over putting all of her wait on the pillar. She slowly turned around staring at the three of us standing besides the maester.

"Your grandsire, King Viserys, has passed." Our mother announced in pain, struggling to get the words out.

"V-Viserys?" Lucerys asked in disbelief.

"The Greens have repudiated the succession and claimed the Iron Throne. Aegon has been crowned king." My mother announced. My eyes widened in shock as I stumbled a bit due to me suddenly feeling nauseous. Luke grabbed my arm and steadied.

"What is to be done about it?" Jacerys asked seriously prepared for battle.

"Nothing yet." My mother ordered. I looked around the room and noticed the absence of my mothers husband as she went into labor to deliver his baby.

"And where is Daemon?" I asked frustrated with the lack of his presence.

"I don't know. Gone to madness. Gone to plot his war." My mother answered, panting in pain.

"Leave Daemon with me." Jace stated with annoyance in his tone before he spun on his heel and left the room.

"Jace." My mother called out as Luke followed him out of the room. My twin brother froze in his steps staring at my mother.

"Jacaerys. Whatever claim remains to me, you are now its heir. Naught is to be done but by my command." She ordered. My brother and I made eye contact as he stood straighter then usual. He nodded his head before following Luke down the rocky corridors of Drsgonstone. I walked up to my mother as she nearly fell to the ground in pain. I led her to a nearby chair as a midwife came to her aid. My mother was sweating and appeared pale. I was not accustomed to childbirth, but something about this did not seem normal.

"My daughter. Come." My mother sighed in exhaustion as I walked to her side. She clutched my hand tightly. I bit my lip stifling a cry of pain at the tightness of her grasp.

"Something is wrong." She gritted her teeth in pain looking up to me.

"Dameon!" She shouted into the castle in hopes of him coming to her aid. She continued to cry but to no avail the Prince did not show. Blood stained my mothers dress as I walked her to a nearby couch. I stared horrified at the scene before me. My mother looked up to me noticing my terrified expression.

"Do not fear childbirth, Aemma. For this will be you one day." She laughed painfully about the twisted irony of the situation. She began crying out again clutching at her stomach.

"Let us help you." The midwives begged feeling sympathy for their princess as my mother crawled to the floor before me. I stepped back having no clue on how to help her.

"Get out!" My mother screeched clutching at her uterus.

"Princess, please." My mothers trusted handmaiden pleaded with her. More blood seeped through her white thin dress. I watched horrified as blood and other unknown bodily fluids seeped out from between her legs. I couldn't help it. I ran to the balcony and threw up bile. I had never seen someone scream in such agony. I turned around traumatized at the sight before as my mother clutched a head stuck in her womanhood. The fetus dropped from her to the floor. Even the midwives stared in disgust at the sight before them. The baby was unmoving as it laid on the ground. One of the midwives turned away, tears in her eyes to avoid the scene before her. My mother picked up the infant as I stepped to her side. I gasped seeing scales along the fetuses head and arms. My mother clutched the dead fetus to her chest with silent tears in her eyes. Daemon finally arrived to see my mother drenched in blood rocking the dead child. My stepfather and I locked eyes as a tear ran freely down my cheek. I couldn't withstand it anymore, I walked out of the room traumatized by the scene I had just witnessed.

The next morning we all stood on the rocky hills of Dragonstone for the funeral of my stillborn sister. Lords and ladies dressed in black watched as my mother and Daemon laid their baby to rest on a firey alter. Guards stood high upon the rocks watching the funeral mourningly. I stood with my three siblings in silence as the fire burned the dead baby. Smoke flew into the sky and the waves crashed upon the shore. A knight of the Kings guard that I recognized as Aegon's personal protector appeared clutching a satchel in his arms. He approached my mother and Daemon, but two other knights pulled their swords out stopping him in his path. Daemon watched the knight warily while my mother continued to watch her baby burn to ash.

"I mean no harm, brothers." Ser Erryk removed his helmet. They shielded their swords as the knight approached Daemon. He knelt before the Prince and my mother. She finally turned around and stared down at him. He retrieved my grandsire's crown and offered it up to her.

"I swear to ward the Queen with all my strength and give my blood for hers. I shall take no wife hold no lands father no children. I shall guard her secrets obey her commands ride at her side, and defend her name and honor." The knight swore holding the the crown before her. Daemon accepted the crown and examined it in his hand. Daemon slowly lowered the crown onto her head before kneeling. Everyone followed suit as we kneeled before my mother.
