I slide down from Meraxes back before she even fully extended her wing for me once I returned to Dragonstone. I ran as fast as my feet could carry me towards my mothers bed chambers. The sounds of screaming in the corridor caused me to move faster as I rounded corners faster then I ever had before. I aggressively threw open my mothers bedchamber doors and gasped to see two knights of Westeros battling each other. I easily recognized them both as Erryk and Arryk, the identical twins. Erryk fought bravely to protect my mother from his twin.

"Mother!" I shouted urgently as I attempted to go to her. She pushed herself up out of the corner she had been trapped in due to the quarrel. A maid stood besides her as the two women watched in horror.

"Stay back, Aemma!" My mother shouted putting her hand out as if she could physically prevent me from running to her. Another knight ran into the room behind me and drew his steel sword out. He pushed me behind him protectively. Both knights appeared to be bloodied and beaten as they equally matched one another. The two stood facing one another. I could not decipher which twin was which. My eyes went back and forth watching the two swing at the other. I attempted to step passed the queen guard to get a better look.

"Get behind me, princess." Ser Steffon hissed stepping in front of me again protectively with his sword out. My eyes widened in horror seeing the blade of a sword penetrate the body of one of the twins. The other clutching his brother and hilt as he sobbed. He pulled his sword out of twins body as the dead brother crumpled to the floor. The living twin faced my mother and took a step towards her

"Your Grace." He addressed as he huffed in exhaustion with tears freely pouring down his eyes. It was then I realized Erryk had won battle and Aegon's kings guard laid dead on the floor.

"Erryk." My mother addressed attempting to step towards him. Ser Lorent stood in between the two as he pointed his sword at his fellow kings guard.

"Forgive me." Erryk sobbed. Before anyone could question his words he held his sword out before him as he fell down in the blade. Ending his own life.

"No!" My mother cried out in agony as I yelped out in shock. Erryk fell to the ground, lying limp. My mother stood above both brothers and silently cried. I stared in horror at the scene before. The puddle of blood pooled on the tiled floor. My mother stood frozen, her horrified face remained as still as a statue. The only sign of life was her watery eyes as silent tears rolled down.

"Mother?" I softly spoke attempting to gain her attention. I took slow and careful steps towards her. The sound of liquid under my foot gained my attention. The blood of the brothers had spread its way in my direction. I stared down my shoes to see the blood had coated my boots and the end of my dress in its metallic substance.

The next morning Jacaerys and I stood on opposite sides of my mother on the sandy shores of Dragonstone. The brothers, Erryk and Arryk laid motionless in a pit that had been dug. Both brothers still wore their armor as dirt was been thrown on top of them.

"He is the basest of villians. He sullies the grave of his brother." Jace spat glaring down at the green knight.

"We cannot fault him for keeping his oath." I shot back facing my brother. His eyes narrowed at the my sudden outburst.

"Your sister speaks truth." My mother sighed as she picked up a handful of dirt and sand from the ground and tossed it into the pit.

"And what of those who sent him?" My twin countered. Everyone except my mother began to walk away as the grave diggers finished their work. I followed after Baela and my twin as Rhaenys stood besides my mother.

"Brother!" I hollered as I ran to his side. He frustratedly stomped across the sand as we made our way to the castle. He refused to look in my direction as we walked forwards. He strode like a ruler. The confidence and assertion of a king. Something, Aegon lacked.

"You're upset with me?" I asked reaching out for his hand. Just as our skin touched he yanked himself free. He stepped up to the first steps leading into the castle.

"How did you know of the danger in the Queens chambers?" He challenged staring down at me with an unreadable glare.

"What are you accusing?" I shot back crossing my arms at the offensive remark.

"The dragon keepers informed me that you and Meraxes landed with a sense of urgency and ran straight towards our mother. Like you knew something villainous was afoot." He interrogated glancing me up and down.

"You are spying on me?" I shouted in disbelief. He suddenly straightened up and reformed his posture attempting to shield his emotions. He glanced around before leaning down towards me.

"Do not think, dear sister. That I am unbeknownst to your late night and early morning leadings. I may not know where it is that you go. But do not tread lightly, if I suspect any wrongdoings. I will report it to the Queen." My twin brother threatened. My eyes widened in horror at the betrayal. He stood straight and turned around as if he were to leave me.

"I am your sister! More so, I am your twin. We were born together, we are each half of a whole!" I shouted taking a step up the stairs after him. Jace stopped and glanced over his shoulder down at me.

"So we're Ser Erryk and Ser Arryk, and look at them now." He whispered before continuing up to the castle, leaving me at the entrance.
