Nolan POV

"what's this I hear about you bringing a young lady to Sully's?" mom questioned me as I just walked into the door.

"honey he just walked through the door" dad came up behind mom.

"Well, she's a babe that's for sure" Tyson came into view and added.

"what do you mean you don't even know what she looks like?" I was confused.

"dude your trending on Twitter" Tyson said in a duh tone.

"what" I pulled my phone out of my pocket, how is that even possible?

"shit" I cursed under my breath as I looked.

"language" mom sculled me whoops.

"sorry" I sighed and put my phone back in my pocket.

"so this girl?" mom raised her eyebrows.

"ma really" I sighed.

"Just give her what she wants a girl" Jackson grins as he came into view.

"your the oldest you do that" I shoved him as I move to sit on the sofa.

"Well, I am the best looking in case anyone was wondering" Oliver pipped up.

"you wish" Seth, Jackson and Tyson and I all called out at the same time.

"ya because I am" dad smirked.

mom just shakes her head.

"so how's training going?" dad asked.

"good I have high hopes this season" which was true.

"and the shoulder?" Jackson questions and I shot him a glare.

"shoulder? are you hurt" mom rushes out.

"Oh, my bad" Jackson puts his hand up.

"I am fine" I replied to her question.

"you best not be lying to me" she gives me a stern look.

"I am not I have been cleared to play by the physical therapist and my team trainer. I was just having a bit of tightness. but it's fine I promise" I tried to assure her.

mom hates when I talk about injuries, she has always hated it. ever since I started playing football as a young boy. But she has made sure she does not talk too much as she always knew it was my dream to go pro. and she has always supported me.

"how's the heard dad" I changed the subject.

"good we are getting ready to move them soon," he tells me.

My family is in the cattle farming business, my dad's grandpa started the operation about fifty years ago. so my dad is the third generation to keep it up and running. Seth and Jackson are the ones who wanted to take it on.

Oliver he is going through to be a vet, he's always loved helping animals. so it only seemed natural for him to become a vet. then, Tyson took after me and got into football. He's good too, he has a real shot at becoming a pro.

"you know we could always use a hand" Seth grinned.

he knows how much I hated doing that as a teenager, I always got saddle butt. which is the worst feeling in the world.

"no thanks plus training keeps me pretty busy" I was trying to get out of it.

"so how do you have time for your lady friend" mom brought the conversation back to this.

"just put her out of her misery" Tyson laughs.

"we are just friends for now" I tried to get her to see reason.
