"I still can't believe you made me find out through Instagram" my aunt complained as we were talking on the phone.

she was mad cause I did not tell her I was dating Nolan Sanders, and that was when she was scrolling through Instagram. An account with a Twitter clip showed a picture of Nolan and me walking in the park when he asked me out. Thankfully I was still the mystery girl. but I don't think that will last much longer.

"Sorry, it's just been crazy, practice is so intense. I am just waiting till the season starts and it should ease up soon. I hope so anyways" I explained.

"I get it, I just want to know what's going on. your so far away now things just feel different" she was not wrong that's for sure.

"how's Carly doing?" I asked.

Carly was my aunt's daughter, she was twelve. and was starting her moody pre-teen faze.

"oh you know she is good, wants to get her nose pierced. but I told her she has to wait till at least sixteen. so now she is mad at me" my aunt just shakes her head.

I couldn't help but laugh, it's just a common faze that we as pre-teens go through. My mom always use to tell me I gave her hell.

"is that Sky" I heard my Uncle J in the background.

"Hi Uncle J" I grinned at him.

"How's life down yonder?" he joked.

"she bagged herself the hottest player in the NFL, that's how it's going" my aunt spilled the beans.

"you bagged Sanders?" Uncle j looked shocked.

"We are not officially together." I reminded my aunt for what felt like the millionth time.

"minor details, you're still dating him" she made a fair point.

"well I can't wait to see you, we got our tickets for the home opener. it feels like it's too far away though" Uncle J frowned.

"it's in a month, it will go buy fast" I tried to get him to see the positive.

"I know it will" he looked a bit happier now.

"sky you home?" Camry's voice rang through our place.

"we will let you go, honey, I love you" My aunt smiled at me.

"love you too" I smiled back and hit the send button on my I pad.

"in my room" I called back to Cam.

"so how was the family dinner last night?" Cam asked as she flopped down on my bed beside me.

"it was nice, his family is super sweet. And they live on a ranch. So I got to see a lot of cool stuff. Plus Nolan agreed to one day teach me how to ride a horse." I explained it all to her.

"Well, I am glad you had fun. has he locked you down yet?" she wiggled her eyebrows.

"no" I groaned. I have been wanting him to ask me to be his girlfriend for what feels like forever. I mean we have only been dating for just under a month. But still, I mean how long do you even have to wait?

"just ask him yourself then," Cam says, she tells me this all the time.

"I am all about being a modern woman and everything, but I just feel like getting asked to be official is something the guy should do. but if he does not hurry it up then I will" I groaned and flopped back on my bed.

"so Grace and I were planning to go to the movies tonight, you can come with us if you want?" She suggested.

"No you guys go, have a fun date night" I did not feel like being a third wheel.
