Nolan POV

"Mom come on it's not like I purposely invited them over to meet her, they just showed up and she happened to be there," I explained again for what felt like the thousandth time.

"so now I just need to do a random drop-by then?" she challenged.

I groaned and glared at my brothers, they just had to go and run their big mouths. Now, mom is bugging me, she has been blowing my phone up for two days.

"I just want to meet her, is that so much to ask?" mom pushed.

"why?" I mean it's a valid question.

"Because I am your mother that's why" was all she said.

I knew  I was not getting out of this, so I knew I had to try and please her.

"fine you win, I will ask her. but if she says no then that's that" I caved.

"well if she says no, then clearly she does not care for you in the way she should" mom fought back.

"haha," Tyson laughed at me from across the room.

I jumped up from the sofa and his eyes went wide.

"ya that's right run away" I called out as I ran after him.

"mom helps me" he calls out.

"you brought that upon yourself" she calls back and does not move.

Tyson runs outside and I grin, I don't chase him. I lock the door, then rush to the side door and lock it too. serves him right.

"hey," he calls as he tries to open the door.

"I swear you two are such kids, let your brother back inside," mom says.

"just a few more minutes" I begged.

"Nolan Cameron Sanders" she busted out the full name.

"fine" I groaned and unlocked the door.

"How was your family visit?" Skylar asked as we were sitting on her couch.

I came over to her house after leaving the ranch. I groaned and lay my head on her shoulder. she giggles at my reaction but moved her hand so she could rub my head.

"that bad huh" she has no idea.

"so don't feel like you have to say yes, but my mom wants to meet you" I rushed out.

she moved away from me and I frown I was comfortable.

"I am sorry come again?" she looked at me with wide eyes.

" my brothers and their big mouth went on about how they got to meet you. so now my mom is adamant that she meets you too. or she will just randomly keep showing up at my apartment until she meets you" I explained to her.

"oh well sure I mean your family is important to you. so why would I not want to meet them?" she claimed.

"my mom is a bit much" I was honest.

"you're her son of course you would think that" she might be right.

"Okay well if you are sure, I will let my mom know. then we can set a date." I informed her.

"Okay," she nods.

so here we are two days later, I am on my way to pick up Skylar and bring her to the ranch. So that my family can meet her. mom was so excited when I told her that she agreed to this, and insisted we do this as soon as we can.
