"So how was last night with your lover boy?" Cam grins as we were eating our breakfast.
"It was good," I tell her.
"That's it just good?" she pushed.
"ya, I enjoy spending time with him. even though our time has been spent doing simple things. but I wouldn't change a thing," I added more this time.
"well I am glad you are happy, and Nolan is a great guy. so you two do deserve each other" Cam was sappy this morning.
"You and Grace seem like a good pair also" I returned the compliment.
"ya," Cam says and has a faraway look in her eyes.
"Hey, what's wrong? are you guys okay?" I mean just yesterday they seemed okay.
"ya we are okay, it's just hard sometimes," Cam says.
"well love is never easy" I remind her.
"I know but my aunt, she didn't know until last night. and she took it really bad, she's like a second mom to me. and well she pretty much said she's going to disown me if I keep dating Grace." she dropped a bomb on me.
"what! that's crazy. what did the rest of your family say" I mean I can't believe this.
"My parents and brother were so supportive of me when I came out. I think my mom always knew, my dad took a bit of time for him to get used to. but he never made me feel weird or anything. my brother was the same as my dad. last night my mom lost it, she kicked her own sister out. Now I just feel like I have cussed a rift in my family" Cam looked at the ground.
"Cam I am so sorry." I placed my hand on her shoulder to offer her some sort of comfort.
"ya Grace is kinda being weird with me now. we met up last night when she was done, I told her but now she's being weird. so I have no idea where we even stand right now" Cam added.
"Do you want me to talk to her for you?" I suggested.
"no I am going to go over to her place after practice," she informed me.
"Okay well let me know if you change your mind," I tell her.
"We should get ready" she moved from the table and started her way to her room.
so I followed suit, I made sure to pack extra clothes today. as Nolan and I were going to hang out after practice. So Cam and I would ride there together, but then it worked out so she could go her way after.
I decided to wear my red matching set today. making sure to grab the jacket since it was kind of cool today, and I would need it to walk to the car.

once I was changed I made my way out of my room, and Cam was doing the same. she was wearing a matching purple set, that looked good on her.

"oh, Nolan is going to be all over you. your butt looks great in those tights" Cam says which makes me laugh.
"what it's true" she admits.
"Thanks" I turned to look at my butt. which caused her to laugh at my actions.
we pulled up to the training grounds, and then it became real we only have two practices left. and then we would be doing our dress rehearsal; the following day was game day. which made me excited. I couldn't wait to perform in front of all those people.
"Damn babe you look fantastic in these pants" I heard a voice and felt hands go on my waist.
I turned around and there was my handsome boyfriend.
"babe?" I question whether he has never called me that before.
"ya you not feeling it?" he asked.
"no, it's okay" I was quick to grin.
"good" he grinned and leaned down so he could place a quick kiss on my lips.
"told you" Cam grinned as she was getting her bag out of the back also.
Nolan looked at me with a look of confusion, after he pulled away.
"I will tell you later" I grabbed his hand so we could start our way inside.
"you still set to come over," he asked.
"ya, I got a change of clothes with me" I pat my bag that's on my side.
"alright see you later." he smiled and then went off to be with his team.
after a long and intense practice, I was ready to hit the showers. I needed to feel the hot water on my muscles, I was feeling it today. I think it's mostly cause my period is going to start in the next day or so.
"so it's true then, you are dating Sanders?" Kimmy a girl on the squad calls out causing the whole dressing room to look at me.
I don't think she was doing it to be mean, she looked curious and had a smile. she seemed nice enough so far, from what I knew of her briefly anyways.
"ya we are, but we are trying to keep it from the public as long as we can" I replied, hoping she understood.
"girl I get it, Damien and I try to keep ourselves out of it too as much as we can," she says.
"ya, I am just not used to having my life out there for everyone to see. so it's taking some getting used to" I kept going.
"I can understand that, and I say this with love. but you need to get used to it, especially when show days happen, people will know who you are very quickly. because you are about to be broadcast on live television, and people's phones with videos of you. people will figure out who you are. and it's going to get crazy. but just know if you need to talk to someone who gets it. you can talk to me because it's not easy." Kimmy did have a point.
but I know that being with Nolan is what I want, and I have hope that it will out way the bad stuff. but I am glad to know that Kimmy is here for me. it helps ease some of my anxiety.
