Nolan POV

"You know I am glad I have you in my life" Skylar randomly says as we are lying in bed.

"Well, I feel the same way" I agree with her.

"I never expected anything like this to happen when I moved here." she proclaimed.

"Because you were so focused on making it and maintaining your spot on the Cowboys." I proclaimed.

"maybe but I think I was always just so worried that once I made the team, I would not be able to find anything real. I would just be known as the beautiful cheerleader and that is." she addresses.

"I mean I could see how that could be a factor, I felt that way before you. I always felt like people see Sanders as a football player. but not Nolan, just an everyday guy." I related to her.

"well to me you are the perfect mixture of both" She grins and moves so she is closer to me.

"how sweet" I kissed the side of her head.

"Sebastian wants to meet up for coffee with me this week," she says.

"you thinking of going?" I asked.

"I am not sure, I mean I do want to get to know him and Tiffany. " she let out a small sigh.

"It's going to take some time to figure this all out," i tell her which I am sure she already knows.

"I know I just can't believe they never told me. I mean what if something happened and I need an organ donor or something." she voiced.

"I think they were just scared to tell you," I admit.

"I guess but mhm I just need to let this go, I am going to drive myself crazy" she groaned.

"your not crazy you're human. You have feelings and they matter, and right now you are feeling hurt and confused and thats okay to feel." I wanted to get through to her that her feelings matter.

"you always know what to say" she sighed in contentment as she snuggled closer to me.

"Well, I try" I was joking but also there was some truth behind this.

"what time do you have to fly out tomorrow?" she asked me but I was not ready to leave her again.

"noon so I have to be at the airport for like eleven," I tell her.

"I will miss you" she groaned but the feeling was mutual, so she did not even have to worry about it.

"I will miss you too" I meant it.

I always miss her when I have to leave, and I know she can't always travel with me. But sometimes I wish that she could.

she yawned and I knew she was tired but so was I, so I kissed her quickly and then told her to get some sleep.

Skylar POV

"you know I admire you," Camry says as she was sitting in my room with me while I was doing my makeup.

"Why would you say that" I mean I don't think I have done anything special.

"with how you handling this all, I would be a wreck. But you look so calm and confident." she praised me.

"well, that's good to hear since I do not feel that way right now. I am freaking out, I mean I have no idea what I am even supposed to say. it was my idea to get to know them, but still, it all just is making my head spin." I admit to her.

"well that's only normal, this will all take some time to figure out a fine balance." she offered her advice.

"I know you and Nolan have both said this to me. and I am trying to get there I am" I spoke.
