Chapter 22

Shadow was having problems of his own since out of nowhere he was brought face first to the dirt

Shadow growled in annoyance he swiftly darted out the way of another incoming attack kicking metal in the back of the head throwing metal in the dirt instead, recovering quickly metal attempted to knock shadows feet from under him with a prompt movement 'shit-!' Shadow thought as he started to fall the thing is sonics body is meant for his speed and agility not the brute strength shadow is used to and not to mention he doesn't even have any guns on him like he usually did but now wasn't time for all that! Shadow is falling fast and he needs to do something or he will be defeated because of this slip up and that just doesn't sit right with him.

Shadow pushed himself up with his palms before anything else, rotating his lower body spinning his leg around hitting its target directly in metals side catching the robot off guard sliding to the side a bit regaining balance while catching shadows leg in the mix

Twisting his leg til there way a popping sound shadow growled and used his other foot and kicked metal straight in the face making metal sonic loosen the grip on his leg jerking the limb from the other rolling himself into a ball
And pushing metal back shadow did this repeatedly even after metal put his arms up to shield himself.

Metal sonics eyes glowed red, no more games

Metal shot shadow back with such force shadow was hardly able to catch himself once he did metal in a blink of an eye fist was inches away from shadow face taking impact, metal grabbed shadow by the neck last second braking their self with shadows body as speed slowed down shadows back burned from the friction between his skin and the earth that opened molding itself from the collision

Shadow kicked metal in the "stomach" letting him get a little distance from the other he sped back to metal curling into a ball shooting himself back at metal sonic who crashed into a nearby tree, shadow moved rapidly grabbing metal by the neck just as they did him except this time the sound of crushing circuits could be heard and finally shadow delivered the last blow by piercing his fist right between metals screen shutting him down temporarily.

Shadow stared at the limp machine victoriously with a smirk on his face that quickly faltered into a frown suddenly feeling pitiful for the android, shadow snapped out of it this robot had no feelings but couldn't help but think otherwise shadow groaned realizing this was one of the body swapping side effects the last thing he needed was to have sonics remorse

Tails blood ran cold the little thoughts in his head told him to just give up and maybe he'd be spared but the louder voice didn't want to give in Eggman wanted him to be scared to beg for mercy with his tails between his legs, but that wasn't what tails planed to do he will save his brother even if it would be the end of him he tired of running away time to fight back tails encouraged himself "what now little vermin no hero to hide behind now, hows about we cut to the chase huh" Eggman cackled

Tails payed no attention to the doctor and dug in his tails to find his laser with no luck 'dang it i must of dropped it!' Tails though looking for something useful he could use to defend himself pulling out his handy wrench wondering what he could even do with it and Eggman being the egg he was laughed at tails 'no this could actually work' tails thought having a split second of doubt tails looked around putting his plan together "are you going to disintegrate me or not im getting bored" now the bowling ball was rolling down the alley now if only he could get his strike

Eggman grumbled "don't mess with me vermin you might not get so lucky" "vermin? How creative, your smart right, cant you come up with anything else" tails said innocently Eggman grinned his teeth realizing just how annoying tails was compared to the other pests "fine! But its your funeral ROBOTS ATTACK" Eggman yelled 'that was easy' tails thought targeting the first bee bot in front of him harshly shoving the wrench into the exit of the laser before the deadly  beam shot out tails jumped above it with the help of his tails slipping through the only small place he could go through boosting himself on the targeted robot making it ho straight down into the group of bug bots

Tails safely landed on the other side of all the chaos while the bee bots accidentally shot each other when aiming for the fox the bee bot exploded immediately once it touched the ground obliterating the bots causing a cool explosion effect around tails

Eggmans glasses slid down his nose in shock watching as a fire lit and how smug the fox looked Eggman slammed on his computer commanding metal sonic to come and destroy the nuisance but he wasn't getting any response back, Eggman attempted a retreat until tails spin dashed the egg carrier again jumping inside Eggman yelled at the fox trying to throw him out when luckily for tails accidentally pressed the eject button sending Eggman flying who fell on his back hard Eggman cursed tails as he ran away  tails stood tall triumphantly as he landed the egg mobile he jumped out taking a deep breath of fulfillment and instantly regretting it when his lungs filled with smoke he started coughing

Tails shielded his eyes from the brightness the fire had grown and fast tails immediately started looking for something to put the fire out if not the whole place could burn down before sonic was found and it would be a terrible toll on the wild life in the forest tails looked in the egg carrier for something and found it!

Conveniently enough Eggman somewhat believed in safety enough he'd put a fire extinguisher in his vehicle, without hesitation tails took it and started to spray the fire it slowly died down 'that was lucky' tails thought taking a quick break tired from all that just happened.
