Problematic kitten

Chapter 6

Usagi is once again on rooftops, patrolling the city. She has put one knife on her belt, just in case after all. Sudden noises catch her attention and she run toward it. What she see in street make her freeze. There is woman with octopus quirk but her whole body look like coated with octopus skin and her hair are long tentacles that grab everything they can and either crush it or throw it away. Couple people are screaming and running away. She seem to follow their voices while destroying everything on her way. 

Usagi know that this time she won't be able to buy enough time to victims to run and call the police, not to mention even survive this encounter. Octopus woman look like she is out of her mind, just destroying everything on her way in rage. "Shit!" She curse and look around. She know that Salamander should be close by and start to run again, searching her. Luckily it didn't took long until she feel slight shift in temperature and follow the feeling. She climb down to the street and run around next corner. She almost collapse in relief. There she is, talking with Rock Lock.

Usagi whistle loudly and they both turn to look at her. She wave to them as a signal to follow her. "KITTEN?! YOU ARE ALIVE!" Salamander yell. She frown for the name she has called her but wave again and turn to run. "WAIT!" "Come on Salamander. He want us to follow him." Rock Lock cut her and she hear how they start to run after her. 

Usagi run as fast as she can and glance over her shoulder. Heroes has some difficulties to follow her but are still in her view. She nod satisfied and turn toward the tentacle woman. She can already hear breaking noises and force her legs to move faster. "What the hell?!" Salamander ask in shock as soon as they all can see the villain. 

Usagi run straight to civilian couple and push them on ground while car fly over them. "Are you hurt?" She ask gruffly. Man shake his head. "Good, run behind Rock Lock and Salamander and call the police. We are going to need backup." She command, help them up and push them toward two heroes who are already calling help through their hero coms. She ignore the fact that two heroes can see her properly in this light and turn toward villain. There is no way she is going to run away. She can at least be their shield. She pull out her staff, click it to spread to its full height and rush in attack. 

"KITTEN!" Rock Lock roar, trying to stop Usagi from attacking but she is already in full speed. Heroes freeze in shock when small vigilante dodge the villains attack in high speed and launch herself in air with her staff. She fly above her and hit her staff to back of her head, making her scream in pain and anger. 

Usagi flip in air so she land on her feet and immediately roll to side, dodging attacking tentacles. "You little shit!" Woman scream and turn her attention completely on her. Usagi gulp, her eyes look furious, beyond reason. I need to get her away from civilians. She force smirk to her face and tilt her head so light hit her chin. "Watch the matter? Can't squish little fly like me?" She taunt her. "Kitten! Get out from here!" Salamander command and start to attack too. 

Villain completely ignore two heroes attacking her, her whole focus is on Usagi. She swallow again and force herself on move. She need more obstacles between her and the villain. She start to attack her more fiercely, trying to catch or squish or throw something at her. Some rocks and metal pieces hit her but she immediately jump back to her feet and continue to dodge. Familiar dull pain slowing her down a little. Salamander burn the villain and Rock Lock freeze some of her tentacles as well as cars and such over her other tentacles.

Usagi notice her change and start to run around. Villain is in such rage that she didn't notice how she start to wrap inside her own tentacles. "Kitten! Over here!" Salamander command after realizing what she is doing. She obey and slide between two frozen tentacles making the villain scream in rage. "Good boy, now fall back and let us handle the rest." She command and try to push her further. She shake her head and hit rock away from them. "I am not leaving you behind." "We are the heroes, you are clearly just a kid. Let us handle this. Eraserhead and Elastic are already on their ways here."

That freeze Usagi for one second too long. She got glass piece on her shoulder. She grunt in pain and flop on one knee. "Kitten!" "I'm fine." She hiss as answer and pull the glass out. She dig out one coffee pill and throw it in her mouth. Soon the wound has vanished and she push Salamander out of car's way. "Where she get all these things." Usagi hiss and jump on move again. 

Eraserhead is on his way. ERASERHEAD IS ON HIS WAY! Usagi think in delight and panic. Of course she has only seen glimpses here and there of him after that incident but she never could forget the face of the man who hugged her after she watch her family get killed. She has followed his career and read every single article she could find about him. She also know that he work as teacher in UA as well as underground hero. 

Usagi get snapped out of her thoughts by hit in the chest from one tentacle that escaped under the car Rock Lock has locked on its place. She hit hard against the other car and it knock air out of her lungs. "KITTEN!" Rock Lock yell and she barely manage to dodge next attack and roll out of the way of new boulder. Then all the tentacles shrink. She look in shock how villain scream in rage and turn to look above her. She look up and gasp. Top of car is none other than Eraserhead himself. "So, I take it that you are the newest problem child in field." He say without taking his eyes away from the villain.

Usagi smile sheepishly. "Hi Eraserhead, sir. I think I could be called that." She answer shyly, even when she feel like screaming in delight. ERASERHEAD IN THE FLESH, FRONT OF HER!
