Chapter 13

Cafe where Usagi works

As soon as Usagi hear someone approaching the alley she jump further from Eraser while putting her goggles back on their place. "I- I need to go." She mumble and run to other size of the alley and on the street. "KITTEN?!" He try to stop her but couldn't rush after her while villain is still in the alley. Then Elastic come to him. "Eraser! You are okay! Where is Kitten?" "Left already, damn problem child." He answer with a tired sigh. "So she is okay?"

"She got injured but insisted that she is fine and ran before I managed to take a look."

Elastic blink surprised. "She slip through your fingers? She is fast." 

Eraser sigh and rub his face. "She has always been fast but now she has trained. With little more experience she could be one of the top underground heroes." "Have you told her that?" He shake his head. "I didn't have the change. Can you take care of that villain? I need to speak with Tsukauchi." He ask and she nod. He head toward familiar sirens and voices. I probably need to tell Nezu about her too. He thought and groan silently, not really waiting for that conversation.

Usagi ran all the way to her home. Both embarrassed and terrified of her behavior. Now he will hate me, he will definitely hate me. He will never want to even see my face again. Circle around her head and she run directly to attic's bathroom. She still only used the attic floor, kitchen and occasionally living room when she need more space to her experiments.

 She throw her suit on toilet seat and jump in shower, wanting to clean the tears and everything away. She turn the water on scalping hot and rub her skin until it feel raw and is red. Then she step out of the shower and shudder. She quickly put on old tank top and underwear until she crawl on bed. Kuro soon jump next to her and curl against her chest. She wrap loosely her arms around the kitten and hide her eyes in her fur. "I'm such an idiot." She spat and close her eyes.

Usagi didn't get too much sleep before she wake up again and glance the clock. 8.30 am. She has slept just little over three hours. She sigh and push herself up. She slouch to kitchen, put Kuro's food on her bowl and make herself quick omelette. She ate it, made the dishes and slouch back upstairs. She grab her suit from bathroom and start to look through it. Right pant leg need to be fixed, some claws need to be sharpen again and she fill the pill pockets again. 

She work on her suit almost whole day, until her phone's alarm start to ring. She snap out of her doing and glance at clock. It is already 2.15 pm. She jump to her feet and rush to closet. She need to leave soon if she wish to get at work in time. She quickly braid her hair, put on red blouse, black pants and black shoes. She crack a window open so Kuro can leave the house if she want, pet her and run out of the house. 

Usagi get to be on time and rush in backroom. She put her backpack on its place, put on her white apron, put notepad and pen in its pocket, glue a smile on her face and walk on front. "Hi Mr Tanaka!" "Hi Usagi. Can you please clean the tables. Bigger group just left and I haven't been able to do it yet." "Of course." She answer with wide smile, grab the wipe and washing agent and go to collect the dishes. She hum quietly while she work fast but competently. He smile a little to his little helper, still wondering what makes her to work, do overtime if necessary without a single complaint. Mostly he is worried because of the amount she can drink caffeine without problems but didn't want to ask or push the subject.

After couple hours, Usagi has filled the supplies, clean every table spotless, serve couple customers and drank one cup of her monster coffee. Finally doorbell signal for new customers. She turn to greet them with wide smile. "Welcome to Coffee Bean, your little local cafe with best products!" She welcome the customers and freeze in shock. Eraserhead walk toward desk with Present Mic. She gasp but force her smile to stay in its place. He didn't know your identity, otherwise he would have come to your home. You are close to UA, of course he would come here occasionally. She try to reason while calming down her beating heart.

"Come on Shota, you have to try it. It was so strong I couldn't take more than one sip before adding tons of cream and sugar in it!" Present Mic usher the Eraserhead. He sigh and roll his eyes. "Come on Hizashi,  you are exaggerating it." He answer. That catch Usagi's interest and little knowing smile come to her lips. "Excuse me, sirs." They turn their attention to her behind the counter. "Are you probably talking about my monster coffee?" She ask sweetly.

"You are absolutely right, Little Listener. I try to convince this sleepyhead here that he should test it out to wake up properly." Mic answer with a smirk. Usagi chuckle and turn to look at Eraserhead. "And I am curious as why someone who hasn't tasted my masterpiece is judging it?" She challenge him playfully. He raise an eyebrow while Mic burst in laughter. "Your masterpiece?" "Yes sir. I have designed and perfected it." She answer proudly. 

Eraserhead snort amused. "Fine then, one of those-" "One bubble tea for me!" Mic cut him off with a smirk. Usagi nod. "You can take a seats and I will bring your drinks to you as soon as possible." She promise and turn to make them ready. Men nod and head to sit on booth.

Usagi make sure that both of the drinks are extra carefully made and glance at the desk. Idea pop in her head. "Tanaka?" "Yes?" "Can I give Eraserhead and Present Mic pieces of cake on the house? They are pro heroes after all." "Of course. Serve them whatever they want." She smile as thanks to him and take chocolate cake to Eraser and cupcake to Mic. She put everything on tray, as well as cream and sugar just in case, and head to their table.

"Sorry for the wait, here is your drinks." She say and put the cups front of them. "And these are on the house, as thank you for your hard work to keep all of us safe." She continue and put plates front of them. "Aaw... Little Listener. You shouldn't have." She smile to Mic as answer and snort quietly when Eraserhead glance at cream and sugar. "Just in case. Monster coffee is quite strong." She explain with smug smile. He roll his eyes as answer and take a sip. His eyes widen and he start to cough. "What the hell is this?!" "Sho! Language!" She start to giggle. "Told you."
