Problematic kitten

Chapter 32

Usagi didn't know how long they shake from the power, it felt like decades, eventually it stop. She force herself to stay up and release Stein's forearm. Immediately he start to fall back, pulling the sword out as he fell. She grunt in pain and stumble backwards but managed to stay on her feet. She force her healing to concentrate on stab wound and nothing else. She concentrate to breathing, in and out, in and out, while she walk to villain and make sure he is still alive. 

"KITTEN!" Usagi turn to look at Ingenium and force smile on her lips. "Out but not dead." She answer to the hero and start to walk to him. Her legs tremble more at each step and just little before him, her legs gave out. Luckily Ingenium's paralyze stop too and he catch her. "Kitten?" "Tie Stein first. I am fine." She command weakly and push him away. He lower her on ground and turn to do as she said. She also heard how he speak to his hero com but didn't have the energy to care.

Usagi move on all fours to her hoodie and dig out the phone Aizawa gave her. She try open it without succeed and curse. They have stepped on it during the fight and it broke. "Just my luck. This time I fucked up really good." She murmur in tears and press the hoodie and phone against her chest. "Kitten. Police are on their way. Come on, we need to check your injuries." She turn to look at Ingenium confused, she isn't injured. Then she glance down and her eyes widen. She is covered in blood. "Oh, right." She mumble and let him help her up. 

As adrenaline start to disappear, Usagi start to notice all her bruises and healed injuries. She see that her hands are angry red, like burnt, she still have little cuts here and there. She has forced her healing to shut down after the stab wound, not wanting to pass out just yet. Soon she sit behind the ambulance while paramedics fuss around her. She roll her eyes. "Just give me some sugar and I will be fine in no time." She snap finally. Man turn to look at her confused. "You have something sugary, right?" He nod. "Then give some to me. I can heal myself with that." She command snarky.

"Give it to her." New male voice cut paramedic's argument short and they turn to look at him. Usagi sigh in relief and smile a little to detective Tsukauchi. "Thanks." She thank the officer and devour sugary paste paramedic gave her. She let her quirk to activate again and jump out of the ambulance, bloody but unharmed. "Hello detective." She greet the man. "Hello Kitten. Nice to finally meet you face to face." She let out embarrassed laugh and rub her nape. "Yeah. This wasn't planned you know." She say as her weak defense. He snort and shake his head. "Might not but you saved Ingenium and that is all we need to know for now." She sigh in relief as answer.

Tsukauchi lead Usagi to sit on backseat on his car. She didn't try to fight back, knowing that this time she couldn't really run away without causing problems to Aizawa and Yamada. "I broke my phone. Can you... make a call for me?" She ask unsure from the detective. He turn to look at her with little smile. "I call to Eraser as soon as we get back to station. I need your statement before they rush in." She snort a little with a small smile and nod. Ingenium brought her batons to her with his gratitude. She brush them away and thank for her weapon. She quickly put them together and shrink staff before putting it under waistband again.

Usagi nod on their ride to police station. She is tired, stab wound and injuries of electricity took way more energy than she thought. She still follow Tsukauchi inside and gave him short statement as what happened. He ask couple questions but not many, seeing the state she is. Eventually he promise to call her guardians and left her on couch in the lobby. She yawn and curl in corner, trying to catch some rest.

Usagi has her eyes closed but she still hear most of the conversations that are going around her. How Trigger sells has skyrocketed, about the League of Villains aka LOV who attacked the USJ and what they might think and do next, lower villains activity that has died down some areas and grown on others. LOV tickle her memory but before she quite catch it doors slam open and Yamada's booming voice strike over the station. "USAGI!" She open her eyes with a grunt and just managed to sit up when she is in his tight hug. She yelp in surprise.

"What were you thinking?! You could have get yourself killed!" Yamada grunt, quite loudly, in Usagi's ear. She didn't know what to answer so she hesitantly hug him back. "I couldn't just walk away. I'm sorry." She murmur against his shoulder. "Don't suffocate her Yamada." Aizawa's stern command came and he let her go. She turn to look at her other guardian scared, sensing the anger in him and his voice. "Sorry." She whimper and drop her head. For her surprise he hug her too. "You stupidly brave girl." He grunt with gruff voice. She hesitantly hug him back too, not sure how to react to their reactions.

"Eraserhead! Present Mic! You know Kitten?" Ingenium's surprised question break the moment and Aizawa pull back from the hug. Usagi turn to look at hero who approach them, without his helmet, and she see his wide smile. "Yes, yes we know. She is our kid." Aizawa answer when he get close enough. He freeze and look between them in shock. She has blushed and smile shyly, not that her blush can really be seen under all blood and dirt. "Oh..." "We just got her thought!" Yamada put in proudly. 

Usagi listen how three adults talk, confused as what is going on. They clearly were mad at her, she didn't came home before dinner, she broke the phone and she is all dirty. She glance down and put the hoodie on, trying to hide some of the dirt. She only half listen to their conversation until Ingenium let out a loud laugh. That snap her attention back to them.

"Yeah, I still not am sure what part of the fight was scariest. When I thought Stein would kill me, when Kitten refused to leave, when Stein first taste her blood or when he hit his sword right through her abdomen and top of that she decided to shock herself alongside him." "WHAT?!" Two pair of angry eyes turn to look at Usagi in shock.
