Problematic kitten

Chapter 11

On next couple weeks Usagi got used to new schedule. She sleep after her patrol on night around 5 hours she usually need, eat whatever she find in the house or Mr Tanaka has given to her after her shifts, work on her inventions and go to patrols on nights. She has updated her staff, thought about what Eraserhead told her as well the nickname they have given her, she need long distance attacks and something to help her climb. She has made half gloves that hide claws, with a hit of a buttons they will cover tip of her fingers with steel claws and dual pistols that use rubber bullets or can shoot injections she has tried to make. 

For example her Fast heal -bullets aren't finished. They will cause even more crucial pain than her own quirk. She hasn't figured out yet why or how to ease it. She has also managed to put her caffeine and sugar pills together and call them simply as Energy boosters or pills. What she has loved most in the past two weeks are all the things she has learnt in cafe. She has also invented coffee that even Mr Tanaka call monster coffee. It is way too strong to drink without cream and sugar to anyone who isn't used to it. She is currently only one who can drink it without anything.

Usagi read quickly through her notes again. She has managed to found out where newest Trigger cargo are heading. She has left copy of her notes at police station and saw how one officer took them inside. She has found the hideout of thugs where cargo has arrived and follow them through roofs. She also keep an eye on her surroundings, trying to localize the heroes and/or the polices but frown when she couldn't spot any. "Did they ignore my notes? Why you are surprised idiot. Your earlier notes hasn't been too useful, has they? Of course they ignored them." She scold herself and peek down when she hear truck to start. 

Usagi look a way down and jump on near streetlamp to slide down. She jump on trucks roof when it drive past her and roll couple times to ease the landing. She has already brought out her claws and use them as help to stay on. Now what? She thought and look around. She could hear two more trucks to follow the one she is on and peek over her shoulder. She pale a little when couple villains climb on the roof and pull out their weapons while glaring at her. She move to better position to dodge on her fours and wait for their attack. 

Before anyone could attack her, Kamui Woods and Salamander drop behind the villains and knock them out. Then Usagi hear someone drop behind her and immediately roll further while grabbing her staff. "Kid, what you think you are doing?" Eraserhead's calm but angry voice ask. She let go of her staff, leaving it on her thigh and look at glaring hero. "Helping?" She offer sheepishly. They are here. They red her notes! She relax her body a little and see something huge in distance. Her eyes widen when she realize that it is Mt Lady, blocking trucks way. 

"Yes kid, we are here and handling the situation. You shouldn't put yourself in such danger." Eraserhead scold Usagi while truck brake. She has to stumble a little but he just shift his weight slightly. "I am completely fine Eraserhead, sir." He sigh. "You can call me Eraser, like I have told you already." She shake her head and smile a little. "I rather call you properly, sir." "At least drop the sir." "... fine." "Now." He say and grab her forearm. "We need to get down. Things are going to be interesting." She follow his lead, even if she would had have a choice and jump next to him on ground. 

Villains are already rushing out of trucks and getting ready to fight. Usagi look around and notice familiar looking syringes in several's hands. "Um... Eraserhead, I don't think this will end peacefully." She say and take her staff. With one swift movement she has her weapon in her hand. "You should retreat kid. This isn't your battlefield." He grunt and nudge her behind him. She take a side step and move next to him again. "I'm not afraid. I will help." "This is heroes job from here."

Usagi flinch slightly to Eraser's comment but hold her ground. He glance at her and grit his teeth. "You still don't have long distance weapon?" She give him quick smirk. "I have some new cards in my sleeves, thanks for asking." She answer smugly.

Then first rage filled roars fill the air. At least 10 of the villains has inject themselves with the trigger and charge against the heroes. "Get out from here Kitten, polices will let you past them!" Eraser command one more time before jumping in battle.

Usagi ignore his command again and slip out of everyone's sight, between the trucks. She pull out one of her guns, check that rubber bullets are inside and new chambers are on their places as well as new bullets. Then she twirl in sight and start to shoot. She has practiced almost two weeks everyday, waiting for this moment, being sure that her aim is excellent and she know how wind and everything affect her bullets. Villains without trigger-drug start to drop. She aim for their chests and heads to knock them out. 

Salamander, Rock Lock and Mt Lady freeze for a moment. Not sure why villains start to drop so fast. Then they notice Kitten, holding her pistol in left hand while using staff on her right hand to defend herself or help to jump over objects. Then she shot first trigger villain. Man with six arms that have long fingers and even longer finger nails roar in anger and turn toward her. "KITTEN!" They all yell and dive back in battle.

Usagi notice her mistake as soon as man turn toward her. She has hit his forehead but didn't take on account how much the drug raise their tolerance on pain and hits. She gulp and aim for his knees this time. Man drop on his knees for a moment and roar in rage. He use his hands to support and get more speed when he charge toward her. "Fuck." She grunt and try to shoot again. Chamber is empty. "Of course it is." She murmur, use her staff to jump top of truck and quickly change new chamber on pistol. She hear something grab on side of truck and feel how it start to tilt.

Usagi has to jump from truck and roll once to get further from it. She glance around and notice that anyone can't come to help her, being busy with villains. Even more has got their hands on trigger. She focus back on angry multiple arms and immediately has to dodge the boulder he throw. "I will rip you apart, limb by limb for that pain." He hiss. She glance around and decide to do only thing she could, she turn around and run. Man roar and rush after her. I need cover, I need a way to get distance between us. She think while running, trying to find a way to win.
