Kiri, Tuk, Loak, Spider and I were all helping Tsahik with Neteyam's injuries. Neteyam kept wincing everytime Tsahik would touch his back.

"Ow, ow" 

"Aww. Want a kiss on the boo boo?" said jokingly.

I smacked him on the head.

"What was that for?" 

"For being my brother"

Kiri then passed Tuk a bowl of something. "Give him this."

"I would use yangabark." she said to her grandmother.

"Oh you would? And who is Tsahik?"

"You ar- move." She pushed Loak to the side and you laughed. "You are grandmother but yangabark is better."

Neteyam kept flinching at the pain. You almost winced yourself.

"It stings less" Kiri stated, making a point when Neteyam kept squirming in pain.

Spider and I sat in the corner watching the Sully family interact with each other happily. I knew Spider was thinking the same thing as me because we both had the same expressions on our faces.

Neither Spider or I had the chance to know what it felt like to have a real family. That is why we are both inseparable.

After patching Neteyam up, Loak, Kiri, Spider and I walked to the labs. 

"Hey Spider," Norm said while hitting Spider with a towel,

"Your ass is mine" Spider replied teasingly.

I stopped in front of Norm as he finished the very short conversation with Spider.

"Hey y/n. Wanna re-match of shooting arrows soon?" 

"Sure tough guy, always a pleasure kicking you butt."

One of the women yelled at us firmly.

"Avatar zone only, go around!" 

Kiri mimicked her in a whining voice and I snickered.

I heard Loak apologise behind me. What a softie.

Once in the scientist lab, we took off our masks and Spider was talking about how unfair our breathing opportunities were.

"You know what really sucks though, is you can breath the earth air for hours and me and y/n can only breathe your air for like 10 seconds" he complains while Loak and Kiri grabbed an oxygen mask for themselves.

"Yeah monkey boy that really sucks, for you" Kiri says while beginning to chase Spider around the lab.

Loak and I kind of just watched them in embarrassment.

"Hey max!" Kiri greeted joyfully

"Hey kids!"

"Hey what's up Max?" Spider asked him while giving him a fist pump.

I didn't really like physical touch so I just waved from a distance. All the scientist new about it and respected it so they didn't find it weird. The only person I usually hugged was Spider. 

My gaze followed over to Kiri who jumped up on top of her mums Avatars cryo capsule. Kiri really did miss her mum. She talked to me about it all the time because I was the only other teenage girl around. 

Kiri was watching a tape of when her mum was studying the Pandoran plants. Thats where she met Jake.

Spider observed Kiri very intently. Until Loak and I came over he quickly averted his gaze to somewhere else. 

"So who do you think knocked her up?" Loak suddenly asked "pretty sure it was Norm" he added.

"Totally" Spider replied laughing.

Kiri looked at them dumbstruck at the idea.

"You do not deserve to live" she said to them

"No, no, think about it right, he's the teachers pet, he's at the lab with her all the time" Loak said explaining. 

"I would kill myself. I would drink acid" Kiri declared.

"Bro, you're right he's in like every shot" Spider indicated.

"Hey!" Kiri grouched.

"Nah. No way it was Norm," I cut in, Kiri looked thankful that I had taken her side, "Norm doesn't have the game for that."

Spider and Loak cracked up with laughter.

"Thanks y/n" Kiri said.

"No problem."

"I mean she does have a point but, I'm thinking, their two avatars are out in the woods, all alone..." Loak began touching his chest wholeheartedly

"Gross!" Kiri proclaimed pushing him back, I just silently laughed to myself as I sat up next to Spider on Grace's tank.

"Guys, sometimes it's not so great to know who your father was." I gave Spider a look to say what the hell.

"Whatever" Spider continued as he slid down the tank, "don't even remember him."

I crossed my arms across my chest. What a way to ruin the mood bro.

"No, Spider" Loak began approaching him worriedly. 

"Spider" Kiri uttered in a whisper to him "you are not him. Either of you" she says confidently looking at me as she does. 

"I think you guys should go" I said to Kiri and Loak, "It's getting late."

2nd person pov

After saying goodbye to the Sullys , you both decided to start to head back to the lab where you were gonna sleep. As much as you hated to say it, you loved sleeping in a normal bed with pillows and a duvet. 

Once you got back to the lab, you and Spider both took off your oxygen masks and got ready for bed. There wasn't much to do other than wash the blue paint off of yourselves and walk to where you were going to sleep for the night. 

The two of you always slept together. It was a way of protecting each other. You enjoyed the warmth and feeling of safeness that Spider gave you. 

Often nights would be hard for you. You repeatedly got nightmares from the one time over hearing Norm talk about the war that had happened the year you were born. It worried Spider to the point he would stay up just to make sure you would get to bed easily.

It was sweet how protective he was of you.
