When the we found out that Jake had gone to the sea clans, we all set off to go look for him. I was worried about what the colonel would do when, or if he found him. 

I was in front of Spider, who was in front of the colonel on his ikarn. It was amazing to get to ride one. The wind in my hair felt amazing. Spider was teaching the colonel how to get better at speaking Navi. 

"Okay this one. I see you" Spider said while doing the action, the colonel following him. 

"Oel ngati kameie" the colonel translated into Navi

"Ngati" Spider pronounced for him. 

The two boys kept arguing about how to pronounce the sentence until one of the soldiers interrupted them. 

"Boss, the radar ahead, there's a rogue gunship" he said

"Where?"

"Eastern sea" 

"Uh hu" the colonel finished before quickly diving his ikarn to the left making me scream from the sudden turn.

We went back to the base so the colonel could show the general where they were going to go. 

I walked into the room over to where Spider was standing in a corner and sat next to him.

"-it hits this island" the colonel said pointing to the hologram.

"That's hundreds of islands. That's a big search box with lots of villages" the general commented.

The colonel then said something back to the general about ships and aircraft but I wasn't listening. 

"What do you think he is gonna do when he finds Jake?" I asked Spider worriedly.

He sighed, "I don't wanna know."

I let out a shaky breath.

We were circling the giant ship on the ikrans while it departed and eventually began to follow it.  After a few minutes, we landed on one of the roof's and Spider and I jumped off of the ikran. I had wished so much that I could just run for my life. 

We jumped onto a hand railing while we approached two guys. 

"Hey" Spider waved. I just stared at them. 

"Mick Scoresby?" the colonel asked one of the guys on the ship.

"Uh hu. Are you the asshole who's commandeering my ship?" he replied 

Spider and I eyed the colonel to see his reaction.

"That would be me" he said as his ikran screeched.

"Targets pretty much this whole island group" the colonel pointed to the hologram in the middle of the table. Spider ducked under his stomach to walk over to me. 

"Never been up there" Scoresby answered, "you know those waters doc, what kinda indigenous we got?" he asked another guy who was looking at the table.

"Well Metkayina mostly, maybe 50 villages" the doctor answered. He didn't look much like a doctor to me.

"You are who?" the colonel asked him.

"Oh uh I-I'm Ian Garvin. A marine biologist" he replied sticking out his hand for a handshake to the colonel. 

"50 villages, 100 villages, I don't care we'll search them all" the colonel said ignoring the handshake. I snorted.

"I hunt tulkun. That's what i'm rigged for, that's all my guys do, I've quotas to meet" Scoresby said annoyed.  

'I'll be nice...once. Then I won't" the colonel said back to him.

"Well if you can't get out of it, get into it!" he yelled, "all crew to stations!" 

A guy came running up to us, "hey don't touch," he said as we picked our hands up from off of the table we were just leaning on. 

"Al bring her up, light speed" a man said to one of the drivers.

"Light speed aye" he responded.

The ship started to move faster and eventually lifted off of the ground.
