Later that night, Hana had set out to the convenience store simply because she was craving a something.
"Ugh, what do I want to eat?" The girl thought as she skimmed and scanned each isle of the store. "I wanna eat something, but I don't know what."
The girl ended up deciding on getting a sandwich, a bag of chips and knock off coke.
"Dinner, nice" the girl thought as she walked back home with the bag of food in her hands.
She approached the resteraunt, bedazzled to see the lights inside were still on
"Mr Shota, why are you still at the resteraunt? Shouldn't you be home by now?" The girl didn't bother greeting the man as she entered the building.
"Ah, it's just you Hana. I guess I got caught up here after I found this photo album." The man gestured to a huge book filled with old photos.
Hana gasped. "No way, is that your wife?"
Mr Shota nodded his head proudly. "She was beautiful, wasn't she?"
Hana could only look at the photos in awe. "No way Mr Shota, you used to have a moustache?"
The old man laughed and attempted to cover his photo. Key word: attempted.
"It was just an experiment of mine. Back then, it was...what do you kids call it...a trend?"
Hana laughed and continued to look at the photos with Mr Shota.
"I never thought I'd get to spend my life with her, you know? It's funny, the universe works in cunning ways. If it's meant to be, it'll be." Mr Shota stated with a faint smile on his face.
Hana was about to ask him what he meant when her phone rang.
"Sorry Mr Shota, it's Niki." She showed the old man her phone.
"Better answer it then" the old man excused the young girl.
Hana answered the phone hesitantly. She didn't think that the two were close enough to call, but here they were.
Immedietly, the girl could tell that something was wrong.
"H-Hana help" the boy was clearly in tears.
"I don't feel safe, and no one else is home"Hana immedietly got up and sprinted out the door, seriously, she made it look like the flash looked up to her due to her immense speed.
Mr Shota was left sitting on the table, mouth wide open. "Kids these days." He shook his head and re-diverted his attention back to the photo album.
"Where are you, Niki" the girl managed to get out as she ran closer and closer.
"I'm hiding in my closet" the boys voice cracked.
Shit. What if a crazy fan found out where Niki lived? What if there were theives in the house? How unsafe was Niki?
The girl sighted his house and ran inside without hesitation, or a plan. looking back in it, running inside the house without a plan was a dumb idea. But there was no time to spare.
The girl ran up the stairs, two at a time and found Niki's room.
"I'm here!" The girl gasped, holding onto the door as she caught her breath "what's wrong?"
Ni-ki shyly crawled out of the closet and sat down, hugging his legs.
"T-the cockroach. It's in Konons room" he pointed at the room across as a stray tear made its way down his face.
Hana's mouth hung wide open. "So let me get this straight." She said, putting her bag of food down. "You called me here, crying, not because of a crazy fan? A theif? A murderer?"
