It had been a long and intense family filled day but it was nearly over. You only got a few hours of sleep last night so you were totally drained.
Golf this morning with Chris' parents, his mother Lisa and father Bob was fun. If a little awkward at times. They were both lovely people and it was nice to be introduced but when they began commenting on how cute the two of you were together you could see their faces fall as Chris hurriedly explained that you were just friends. Evidentially, Chris told you, they liked you. They both thought you were sweet and would be a breath of fresh air for him.
Things only got more awkward when Chris had to get in close and teach you how to swing the club. You could feel his body flush against yours. His arms circled you and his big warm hands were on top of yours guiding them, showing you how to hold the club.
After golf you and Chris hurried back to your room to change for lunch with his sisters and younger brother Scott. Once again it was interesting explaining that you weren't dating and were strictly friends. But you couldn't remember the last time you laughed so hard in your life. The stories that told about Chris during their childhood were golden and it was awesome to see a group of siblings that was so close.
It was getting close to 6:30 and the rehersal dinner started at 7. You showered, did your makeup, curled your hair and got dressed in what you thought was record time. That didn't stop Chris from having to wait around for you though. You emerged from the bathroom, satisfied with your look at 6:55, the dinner was in the hotels function room, and Chris was sitting on the couch playing Candy Crush on his phone.
"We should probably head down there." You told Chris as you picked up your clutch from the bed. God he looked stunning in his suit. Even though it was the rehersal he had gone the full nine yards with his classic black and white suit and tie combo. He was irresistable. "Oh yeah..." He replied, struggling to tear his eyes from obviously a very difficult level. When he did raise his head, he looked stunned. "Y/N, you look beautiful."
