Oh no, Neko!

A smile is less than convincing

Screaming, crying, ouchie.

Whose idea was it to run on a broken foot?!

Nonetheless he was whatcha call schmoovin. {lmao and I said "new and improved" writing style} picking up the pace, the two behind him made sure Izuku didn't fall, though stumbling was unavoidable. His breathing was ragged which made him a little dizzier with every step.

This was fine.

They approached the towering masses of pseudo-city buildings, "Uraraka, how many people can you make float at once?"

"Uh-Ohm uh- T-two!" She half managed between inhaling air, it was clear her stamina wasn't the best thing but nothing she couldn't improve. She was quite capable after all!

"Okay, float you and Jirou up, I'll climb-"

"But your foot!"

Reasonable as ever Jirou, but reason wasn't realistic right now. They had to get up.

"Alright then... Uraraka can you make something else float and we grab onto it? I'll get on top and you two boost it upward with a jump, I'll make sure you stay on."

With the quick change of plan Jirou turned towards the ice, blasting off a decent chunk, Izuku climbing on top with a little bit of help. He grabbed both girls under their arms as Uraraka made it zero gravity, they both crouched and jumped. It wasn't too much momentum this way but it was enough that they would get to the top and that's all that mattered, the ice glacier served as a good cover spot. Just as he planned.

To the top of what? Well.

Izuku had noticed it when they first came in. Just before the glass of the dome, there was that of a catwalk that stretched all the way around the top of the colosseum it led to a smaller box in the top middle, directly opposite of the entrance. It was nothing but speculation but this should be some sort of control system right? Or a control to the lights- and speakers. Speakers was the big idea.

"Alright Uraraka I'll count to three, when I do so you'll release the ice and we'll all grapple the side of the glacier at the top, watch the spikes but grab one, alright?

One.

Two...

Three!"

The ice cracked in their arms as it was released, crumbling slightly, but they pushed off of it onto the glacier itself.

With his good foot, Izuku dug the metal toe of his shoe into the ice, grabbing onto one of the larger ice crystals while securing Jirou. Uraraka has a failsafe if she fell, so it was better to help his other classmate. Plus she managed to cling into the side, the heels of her weirder shoes digging into the side as well.

"Alright! Jump over the railing Jirou, Uraraka climb over here and I'll help you up, then you both pull me up alright?"

Two nods of affirmation later and Izuku was spilling with a metallic thud against the metal of this path. The ringing persisted in his ears in an uncomfortable scream, making his head turn to look at the main lobby in reflex. They were still holding on strong, but the villains were stronger. It looked like Mina was knocked to the side, Kirishima is in the Nomu's hands but he's not letting it crush...

"Hurry."

It's all he could say to the two girls, forcing his body to move against the aggressive pain in his right ankle.

Izuku counted the number three pairs of footsteps following him took, steadily heading for..wa...it.

Three people following him?

He halted, glancing over his shoulder. Uraraka and Jirou slowed with a puzzled look, and there was sure enough a figure behind the both of them. It almost made him cry with relief as he saw two twitching cat ears.

Actually yeah he did cry.

"Todoroki! Uh- keep-" He had to breathe in as his vision doubled again, iron was ever present on the back of his taste. "K-keep.. keep moving for-for-f-foreword, gotta get to the sound sy-sys...tem."

The two girls shared a knowing glance.

"Todoroki, can you take him? We need to go call for help!"

They ran past Izuku as he stumbled again, brows furrowing as he looked at the whirl of people that visibly walked past him despite there only being two sets of footsteps. His body swayed in their direction.

"No wait, I-" his eyes blinked in and out of blackness.

No not now! He had stuff to do! The pain wasn't even that bad!

A cool sensation traveled to the back of his neck. It was comforting.. he looked over to Todoroki, smiling. Ice..

Wait.

Wait that wasn't ice.

Todoroki's face twisted into an uncharacteristic grin, eyes flaring wildly. And then it twisted more.. uncannily. Melting.. melting. Ice. This wasnt ice. Melting.

He dared to look past his ear, barely managing to crook his head to the side. A... knife?. A knife was to his neck. No..nonono no. Not a knife. It was.. like a tube. A wire led from it to somewhere that was far too blurred.

He looked back over to Todoroki's face. Izuku was only confused. His mind didn't wrap around the fact that his eyes were yellow, slitted. Maybe this was apart of his whole cat thing?

They look like cat eyes.

"Close your eyes." Todoroki's voice was a mix of his normal one, if more excited then his normal monotone, and a girls voice. Was it the girls behind him? Well if all of them are telling him this... they're getting help.

They'll be fine if he.. he just... closes his eyes. Right? He got them up here...

"The villains are retreating. It's fine."

The duel Todoroki and girl voice spoke this. Izuku hear it only through a drumming band of his heart pulsing as he fought exhaustion. He closed his eyes, tears being pushed out. There was a squeal of excitement... maybe. He couldn't tell.

Todoroki didn't really make those sorts of noises so he knew he was probably imagining things in his delusional state.

The last thing that he remembered was a sinking sting in the back of his neck and a wave of sickening nausea wash over his body.

It's fine though, the villains are gone. Todoroki said so. With a smile. The logical side of Izuku said that smile was less than convincing.

{How much of a spin do you want me to take with this? Because honestly I got a random ass idea. It'll be better than plotless romance I had going on way back when I started this.
