Oh no, Neko!

"..hello.." Todoroki greeted him, seeming a bit happy- or maybe content at most.

"Todoroki here is a very sweet boy Izuku." Inko beamed out at him. "You should make friends with him!"

Izuku blinked at Todoroki who seemed to sink into himself a bit meekly. Maybe he just misunderstood him yesterday... The greenet slowly walked over. He always followed his mom's advice as she was normally on to something when she gave it.

"U-um.. wanna go to my room then..?" The freckled teen asked hesitantly. He's never even had friends except for Kacchan.. what did friends do? He wasn't sure.. though he suddenly remembered his mom started dinner without him and felt guilt wash over him. "O-or do you need help mom-?"

She giggled, waving them off. "Go have fun, okay? It'll be ready in about five minutes.. I'll call you when it is."

Izuku slowly nodded, jolting a little when he felt something soft curl around his ankle and looked down wide eyed to see it was Todoroki's tail, following it up with his eyes to see the haflie standing close to him. He gulped a bit and walked him to his room, a bit more conscious that he was there due to his tail.

What did this mean? Why did he have his tail around his leg? Does that mean he liked him? He wanted to see what he'd do? Was ignoring it right-?

"..you mumble a lot.." Todoroki's voice was surprisingly deep. Silky.. like his ears.

Izuku actually took in what he said after this thought escaped him, literally. Todoroki's ears raised straight up as a hand moved to brush his throat, as if he was thinking it was bad with a frown, ears lowering to his head and his tail left Izuku's leg.

Of course Izuku quickly caught onto the fact he took It wrong, a bit embarrassed he heard this at all and raised his hands to wave them widely in the 'I surrender' pose. "W-wait I didn't mean I-it as b-bad!"

Todoroki seemed to gain a bit more hope, softly whispering, "...m'not bad..?"

Izuku felt a pang shoot through his heart at his said eyes. "N-not bad at all!!"

The haflie nodded, ears raising after a moment, as he looked away from Izuku a bit... well the greenet could barely tell what he was feeling. Was he still sad? Did Izuku just mess his only chance for a friend?!

"You have a lot of all Might.." The other, completely unaware of the freckled teen's inner panic, noted a bit shyly.

Izuku took what was the equivalent of a mental deep breath to calm himself and laughed nervously, rubbing the back of his neck as he watched Todoroki walked over to aa shelf with several All Might figurines on it, examining each one closely. "Y..yeah I guess I do, haha!.."

He cursed himself inside his head, he was so weird..

"..I like All Might too.."

Izuku couldn't even deny the burst of energy he got from hearing this, trying not to act too excited and totally didn't grin giddily. "O-Oh.. you do? What do you like about him?"

"..he's not Endeavor."

This response puzzled Izuku but his fanboy switch was flipped on so he didn't dwell on it for too long, exploding in a grin and flopped on his All Might themed bedding. "He's so cool! I like that he saves people with a smile.. always fearless in battle and is always a great hero! I hope to be like him one day, I want to make others happy like he does, always smiling, but I have a long way to go.. I get scared really easily unlike him..."

Izuku blabbered out passionately, though slowed at the end with a slightly disappointed frown towards himself. But he quickly reminded himself that the All Might was training him! He was his successor after all!"

He smiled again and looked up from his lap that his gaze at one point fell into. Though his excited eyes were met with slightly passive but interested, mismatched eyes of Todoroki. It made Izuku realize that he really just rambled a ton, blushing and covered his face with his arms, adverting his gaze away from the haflie. "S-sorry.."

There was a bit of silence before Todoroki sat on the bed, head leaning on Izuku who made him flinch lightly in surprise, arms lowering quickly because of this only for a tail to curl around his wrist.

"U-um T-Todoroki-?"

The haflie yawned, head slipping from his shoulder into Izuku's lap.

Suddenly it felt very illegal to move.
