Oh no, Neko!

Dinner with a Cat

"Dinner's ready!" Inko called making Todoroki's ears twitch, a single blue eye opening to look over at the door with interest... which quickly turned to disinterest, closing again in favor of cuddling with Izuku.

"U-Um, Todoroki?" Izuku asked, unsure if he wanted him to be speaking at the moment... there was a grumbled word that slipped past Izuku's ears from the neko which made him front. "..cmon we gotta go eat.."

"..ooo.."

"Todoroki-?"

"..noooooo."

      

Izuku sighed heavily after about three minutes for the haflie to do something besides lay there, gently wiggling out from under the haflie when that didn't happen and went to his mom. "Is it okay if we eat in my room..? Todoroki wants to take a nap and I don't think he's gunna get u-AHK-"

He yelped in surprised as arms curled around his waist very suddenly, a weight of a whole person suddenly leaning again him as a very familiar tail curled around Izuku's leg again.

Inko had burst out laughing, Izuku pouting as he grumbled a bashful, "..Todoroki..."

"Sit down and eat you two." She smiled happily, only one thing running through her head.

        

'My son is totally gay.. I'm so proud..'

    

Todoroki had gently pushed his plate to the side so he could lay his head down on the table, having trouble using chop sticks because of his.. paw-hands, eventually giving up and discreetly tried picking at his fish with his claws.

Though Izuku had been paying attention the whole time, Inko had already started eating, so was done early. By the time the two came out she only had a few bites left, leaving the dishes from Izuku since he offered and went to her room.

 

Now they were just left alone. After a moment, Izuku hesitantly picked up Todoroki's chop sticks and broke off some fish and offered it to Todoroki. The neko lit up noticeably and quickly ate it, the corners of his mouth ever so slightly risen which Izuku considered a win. It seems if anything Todoroki was just bad at communicating his feelings...

The greenet noted himself to be a bit more patient with him from now on.

Here he was, feeding a cat-boy fish between eating his own fish, feeling a bit more content with every time either of them took a bite. This felt nice... kinda.

 

Todoroki glanced at his water while Izuku was getting a bite for himself, green eyes still watching the haflie. He grabbed his glass, sniffing it and frowned, hesitantly set it aside again.

"...too warm?" Izuku asked after a second which made Todoroki twitch. He looked a bit guilty but Izuku smiled and stood, grabbing the glass and dumped the water down the sink, getting him some cold water.

"Thank you.." Todoroki mumbled as he took the glass from him when he got it back and practically downed half. Izuku was a bit surprised.

  

'Can he only drink cold water? Is that why he looks dehydrated?' Izuku thought to himself, making sure not to mumble out loud as last time he did it made Todoroki a bit upset. Well most likely because he was talking about the haflie himself.

   

Izuku kept feeding him till they were done and started doing the dishes before catching a glance at the time and gasped.

"I'm late!"

 

It seems feeding two people at once took a bit longer.

 

"For what?" Todoroki's ears twitched a bit and lowered at his louder voice, the haflie speaking a bit quieter.

Izuku dashed to his room, Todoroki following him, a bit confused by his rush. "T-training! Sorry Todoroki- you might have to go home.. I would offer for you to come with me but-"

"I can?" Todoroki cut him off hopefully.

"-it'll be dirty." He finished after, almost starting to tug off his shirt in front of the neko before pausing and blushed a bit. "U-uh, can you leave the room for a second?"

Todoroki frowned a little, ears flattening to his head again as he slowly started to turn to leave which once again killed Izuku internally.

"O-or stay!! ..just turn around please..?"

Todoroki seemed much more pleased with this and did so, Izuku changing quickly behind his back. "So.. I can come..?"

"I-If you really want to!" He said, hurriedly stepping into his training joggers as he already had his shirt-shirt on and got to putting his socks on. "Okay you can turn around again-"

Half way between his words of permission Todoroki had already turned, walking a bit closer to him again. His eyes narrowed as he stared at his shirt, though Izuku didn't notice, too busy scrambling out the door and grabbing a towel and water bottle, at the entry way shoving on his shoes.

Todoroki was right behind him, tail curling around Izuku's leg again which was just a bit harder to feel since he had sweat pants on.

 

"Hey, do you think you could run with me?" Izuku asked, a bit on edge at being late to meet All Might for the first time. Was he going to be mad..?

Todoroki saw it was important and hesitantly nodded, tail leaving his leg again. "Where are we going?"

"Takoba Municipal Beach." He said, after a moment ran back into the house to find a water bottle from the fridge and ran back to Todoroki. It was important he drank water..

"The one covered in trash..?" Todoroki said in confusion. Izuku smiled a little, knowing he was cleaning it all.  

"Yep, you ready?" Izuku said as he started jogging in place to get himself ready, getting another hesitant nod from Todoroki. It was all he needed before setting off, a bit faster then normal so he didn't keep All Might waiting for too long.
