"T-Todoroki, we have to do things.." Izuku tried to tell him, but he was almost sleep by now. Izuku found himself wondering (out loud under his breath probably) how he could sleep standing, but either way he needed to wake him up.
"Mm..hmn.." He grumbled cat noises under his breath again, Izuku remembering from when they first met how he didn't even acknowledge him... Todoroki wasn't going to listen to him, was he?
As a last resort, Izuku look around for Momo. Their eyes met after a few seconds and she saw that he was a bit stuck, walking over.
Of course the first thing she did was flick Todoroki's ear which he hissed at, jolting up tiredly, scowling grumpily at her. "Stop torturing Midoriya and get up Todo."
The halfie's eyes shifting to Izuku, ears lowering a bit with guilt. "S..sorry.."
"I-it's fine!" Izuku somewhat panicked as it physically hurt is heart to see Todoroki upset. "But.. let's go do the test, okay? You can nap at lunch."
He nodded hesitantly, stepping away from Izuku's side and walked over to see what everyone was doing as he most likely zoned everything out to try and sleep. Todoroki sighed as he saw it was physical stuff and man did he not want to move right now...
Maybe he's just stand in place. It was sunny and the sun was warm and warm made him even more tired so...
He made it two steps away from Izuku before he started to nod off again, Momo visibly and audibly face palming.
She walked over, dragging Todoroki by the front of his shirt to start the first thing which was a ball throw. He was whining the whole time, being given the ball from his childhood friend and pitifully tossed it about three feet in front of him before trying to walk away.
Aizawa, who was recording the scores, gave a long sigh, and in a warning tone barked his name. "Todoroki."
He turned to his teacher, staring with low ears and begging eyes. Almost like he knew cats were Aizawa's biggest weakness...
They had a staring contest for a minute at most, gaining odd glances, tension steadily filling the air before the tired man sighed again, sounding even more tired. "..You can sit out Todoroki."
He quickly perked up, everyone watching and equally dumbstruck as their class mate used puppy eyes at their teacher, scrambling to find a nice warm spot in the grass to sit down on and nap.
"I got last place..." Izuku muttered to himself, eyes glossing over with fearful tears as they gathered in front of Aizawa who was directly glaring at the greenet.
There was an intense silence before the man's face contorted into a sadistic grin. "It was a logical ruse, no one will be expelled."
Izuku let out the biggest knot of breath stuck in his throat all at once in such relief.
"Go change back into your uniforms and go to lunch." He told them, promptly walking away.
Izuku quickly made his way over to his cat friend, tapping his head which got a grumpy merowl in response. "Todoroki.. It's lunch..."
It took a few seconds but a warm grey eye opened slowly to peek at him, Izuku smiling brightly. "The cafeteria sells sushi! Come on, you need to eat and stay hydrated!"
He sighed and stood, tail wrapping around Izuku's shin, slipping down to his ankle as he didn't have much motivation to keep it up, it only loosely attaching to him. He leaned on him ever so slightly as they walked to the cafeteria, Izuku having to lead him so he didn't run into a wall or a person, but they got there soon enough.
