Oh no, Neko!

A Sad Cat

"Hey, Todoroki, a f-friend of mine is gunna come o-over.." Izuku stuttered, avoiding eye contact with the haflie nervously.

He tilted his head, ears twitching. "Who?"

"Just.." he nervously laughed, twiddling with his thumbs some more. "..A f-friend.."

Todoroki's eyes practically bore into Izuku, unblinking, the greenet could just feel the power of the stare at this point, wanting to look over but then again...

"Who?" He asked again, not any more forceful or curious, in the same exact tone as before.

"An o-older one b-before u-uhm I-I-I m-met you!!" Izuku tilted his head back with an exaggerated grin and pushed his fingers together, looking over his shoulder to keep avoiding eye contact.

He was a terrible liar.

"Oh." Todoroki clearly didn't believe him but nonetheless nodded along.

"S-so.."

"Hm?" Todoroki tilted his head again.

"Uh-Uhm.. you c-can't come over tonight.." he murmured softly, looking a bit guilty.

Todoroki made a sad cat noise and pressed his face into Izuku's side making the greenet flinch and make the mistake of look over at him. He was only was met with glassy, begging eyes looking up at him.

"That's so mean Midoriya!" Uraraka huffed across the table, automatically falling for those sad eyes even though Todoroki wasn't even looking at her. "Take him home and introduce him to your friend!"

"B-but!-" Izuku was about to protest but an upset mumble cut him off.

"Don' like me anymore.. he don' like me.."

Todoroki was slowly crawling off Izuku's lap and basically curled into a ball which was surprising considering he didn't even look like he could fit on the lunch bench seat.

"T-todoroki!" Izuku called helplessly, hands hovering in mid air as he debated trying to grab him or not.

"Don't insensitive Midoriya-kun.." Iida also scolded with a disappointed stare making Izuku shrink into himself.

Though he turned back to Todoroki, then remembered something and gasped, quickly turning to his bag and rummaged through it before pulling out a bag of cat treats that he bought the other day. It had been maybe around a week since the mall incident and he only just remembered about these...

Iida and Uraraka both gaped as Todoroki's ears perked up but he didn't move, Izuku shaking the bag and saw this, smiling. He tore off the top of it to open it up as it hadn't been opened before, Todoroki's head now slowly raising as he looked over with blown eyes.

Oddly it gave him an innocent look, not that he wasn't innocent-...

He looked very innocent. Eyes wide and docile as his face was more or less ill mannered.

"Want one?" Izuku reached into the he back and picked one out, letting it roll into the center of his hand.

To his surprise Todoroki leaned forward and licked it up making Izuku shudder a little as he also licked the center of his palm- that felt weird.. but he found out Todoroki's tongue actually feels a lot like a cat's, a bit sand paperish.

Though he didn't exactly expect to find out in this way..
