Emergency!

Accepting my defeat, I took out my magnifying glass in case I will need it to examine the globe which had stopped glowing. I had a bad feeling in my gut. I should not have wasted so much time in getting the globe out.

The globe started glowing at my touch. It was almost like it responded to my touch. A paragraph of weird letters that I was unfamiliar with glowed through the globe with a white light. I struggled to read them and bit my lower lip desperately. Picking up the globe, I got up to put it on the bed.

While picking it up, my index finger feel on a button that was located under the pedestal. The green crystal button was sharp but I knew that I had pushed it. I was surprised to see that my finger was bleeding because it did not hurt that much. I think it was a translator button because now the letters were just upside down English alphabets.

I could read it easily because I and Kate used to often challenge each other to read an entire novel upside down. I know. I'm weird.

The message said-

Jasmine, I'm in trouble!

I don't know where I am because I passed

through many places when I got teleported.

I need you to switch on the game NOW!

My hands shook in fear and I froze. I pushed myself off the bed and ran to my desk. Aggressively pulling out the office chair, I switched on the laptop and opened the game as fast as my shocked self could.

krazy_bunny: Please press the green button twice or once if you have already pressed it. Its under the pedestal if you don't know. As soon as possible. Please don't reply to this message.

I followed the exact instructions and pressed the green button once again. The globe became a solid and my friend's face appeared. Judging by his surroundings, he was at the dock and was sitting behind a neatly arranged pile of crates.

His voice lowered to a whisper and said, "I am in danger."
