krazy_bunny: Are you sure? Do you promise not to judge me? Will you still be my friend?

bagel_crazy: Yes, yes and yes.

krazy_bunny: Okay.

There it was. His human and alien form. Oh my god! If you ever looked at his human form, you would surely mistake him for a big shot teen actor.

bagel_crazy: You look really good! How old are you? 14 or 15?

krazy_bunny: 12. They have a name for that, right? I keep forgetting it.

bagel_crazy: "They"??

krazy_bunny: Earthlings.

bagel_crazy: Oh! You mean humans?

krazy_bunny: Yeah.

What had my life become? Talking to aliens about humans as if it were a far-off subject.

bagel_crazy: Haha, its called tween.

krazy_bunny: Yes! That word!

krazy_bunny: I have never ever done this before but I trust you a lot, so do you mind if I came to your house?

He was asking me as if he was offering a piece of gum!! What if he is coming here to kidnap me for human study? What if he turns out to be a laser gun armed alien??

Despite all this, my body wanted to go against my mind (like always) and this what it did..

bagel_crazy: No. Not at all. You are always welcome!

What???!!

I heard a soft sound, like a cat jumping and landing on all its fours. I turned my chair around and there he stood.

I pinched myself so hard that I had to bite my lower lip to stop me from screaming.

He had the blue globe in his arm, grinning from ear to ear and ruffling his hair sheepishly.

"Hi.", he said.

"Turn around." , I said motioned for him to do so with my finger.

I don't know how my body manages to do such stupid things so flawlessly. I am amazed.

His grin faded and transformed into a confused look.

"Huh?"

"Just turn around to show that you don't have any weapons." I said and again motioned him to do so with my palm face out.

Instead of doing what I asked him to, he smiled and gave a smack on my hand. I put my hands in the air, with an obvious shocked look on my face and said, "What was that about?"

"Oh, I wasn't supposed to do that? In Adaptation classes I was taught that if a human held out his or her hand, it means they are asking for a kind of greeting in which we should slap their hand and..". I rudely interrupted, "Adaptation classes?"

"You earthlings are a weird kind and to make sure we fit in, we have to take lessons about how to behave and how to do that thing with you legs.." he said and briefly glanced at my feet before he was interrupted... again.

"What do you mean by 'that thing with your legs'? I curiously asked. What could it be? Jumping? Hopping? Dancing? or... Waxing?

"Hold on.", he said as he took out an object from his pocket. It was shaped like a mobile, but bulkier and it had the same glowing blue color as the globe.

He started unfolding it until it transformed into a laptop. He looked around at my room as if he was searching for something. He walked to a blank wall next to my bed and threw the device at the wall. Yes, I said threw as in tossing an object and in this case, it was done mindlessly.

I stared at him with my eyes so wide that my eyeballs looked like they were about to pop out. But instead of crashing into the wall, it stopped mid air and expanded to almost four times its previous size.

He pressed a few buttons, or rather touched a few buttons and then a picture of a person walking came up on the screen.

"That.", he said like he was declaring something.

"Huh?", I was still a little disoriented from what had happened.

"We had to go through training sessions to learn walking."

"Are you telling me that you don't walk on your planet?"

"No. We have special shoes which make us float about half an inch above the ground. But when I walk no one can figure out that I am an amateur at it.", he said, his eyes glinting with pride.

He paced across the room and back to prove his point.

"I am pretty good at it, right?", he asked.

I let out a chuckle and nodded," Yes, you are."

"Walking is one of the most important criteria for a Nelibian to qualify for appearing in earthlings' sight."

"Wow."
