Harper couldn't help but feel like Tom was keeping something from her. She had noticed how secretive he had been. She knew it was hard. But she didn't want him keeping things from her.

Harper knew she couldn't cope with anymore secrets. It was driving her mad. And she just couldn't handle it. She wanted a stress free life for Sofia.

But she always felt like there was something going wrong with her life. Or in her relationship with Tom. And she didn't know how much more she could handle.

All she knew was that she couldn't cope with much anymore. And she just wanted a break.

When she woke that morning, she heard Tom downstairs. He was shouting at someone. She grabbed her dressing gown and walked downstairs. Sofia had stayed with Tom's mum and dad.

She walked into tbh kitchen and saw him on the phone. He turned to her and hung up. "What's going on?" She asked.

"Nothing. Just arguing with my brother. He's being difficult. I've told him I won't give him money," Tom said.

Harper nodded. She knew he was lying. And she didn't like it. She smiled. "well just tell him we need all the money we've got. We're looking to buy a house," she said.

"I've just told him to get lost."

Harper watched as he put his phone on the table and walk out the room. She picked up the phone and went through his call log. And there were no calls with his brother.

He had lied to her.

Harper went into work. She saw Madison and walked over to her. "I think Tom is cheating on me. He was shouting at someone this morning. He told me it was his brother."

Madison frowned. She looked to her. "I didn't even know he had a brother. Wow."

Harper nodded. She sighed and felt a tear slip down her cheek. "If he has cheated on me, I don't know what I'd do. I love him so much Mads. He's the only person I want."

Madison took her hand. Max walked over. "Tom isn't cheating on you."

"How do you know?"

Max smiled. "He loves you too much. He's just having a hard time right now. But it will work out for you both. You just have to have faith."

Harper was sitting in the staffroom. She looked up as Eleanor walked in. "Have you seen Tom?" She asked as she looked around.

Harper rolled her eyes. She shook her head. "I would love to know what your obsession with my boyfriend is. Do you not have your own?"

"We're both working in the English department. So maybe I need to speak to him about that? Did you think about that?"

"You need to watch who you're talking to. I'm not a silly school girl you can boss around," Harper said.

Eleanor smirked. "You've just made a mistake. I'm going to Max Tyler and reporting you for threats."

Harper shrugged. "Do what you want. No one wants you here. So just do us all a favour and find another school."

Eleanor turned and walked off. Harper stood there and sighed. Not knowing how this was the beginning of a hard time for her and Tom.
