Harper and Tom had been trying to make their relationship work. Both of them knew they had been through so much. Both of them knew how they needed and wanted it to work. Especially for their daughter.

Harper knew how Elenor Chaudry wanted her gone from Waterloo Road. But she also knew how everyone was rallying around and not wanting her gone.

That morning, Harper woke in bed and sighed. She saw Tom sitting there with Sofia. "Morning," she mumbled as she looked to him.

Tom kissed her and smiled. He looked to her. "Sleep okay?" He asked.

"Yeah. I'm just wondering how on earth I ended up with a bruised ribs?" She asked.

"Ah yes. Blame this little lady here. She was under the impression she could kick mummy and giggle," Tom told her.

Harper took her daughter into her arms and smiled. She held her close. "I hate the fact I have to go into work and see Eleanor. She genuinely pisses me off. She has a problem with me. I don't know what the hell I've done wrong to her," she mumbled.

Tom took her hand and smiled. "No one wants you gone. Even Karen can't deny that you're a good teacher. You're amazing. Everyone there loves you."

"I know. I just want her to leave. She's the one who causes so much hassle there. Like with the open day. And how she was all up Whitmans ass. She needs to go."

"I know babe. But just don't let her bother you. You're an amazing person. You make me smile. You're a brilliant mum. An amazing teacher. And you're just down right beautiful," Tom said as he kissed her.

He climbed out of bed and smiled. "I'll go make some breakfast. And then we'll head to work."

"Joyful."

Harper and Tom went into work. Tom kissed her and walked over to Max. Madison came over. "Eleanor is on one today. Thought I'd warn you."

"Oh god. Can she not just disappear... for good? No one would miss her," Harper said as she looked to her best friend.

Madison shrugged. "Max would miss her. They're best friends. She's the best teacher to have happened here."

"Oh god, again. What is it with that woman? She is genuinely the worst person on this planet. I would love to know why she thinks she's star teacher I hate her."

Madison smiled as she looked to her. She knew how her best friend felt about Eleanor. "Maybe I could talk Max into getting rid of her? I mean it would be for the best. She's not liked," she said.

"Please. Please do."

"Deal."

Harper was sitting in the staffroom. She looked up as Tom walked in. He looked mad. "What's wrong?" She asked aa she looked to him.

"Nothing. Don't worry. Just a bad class. They weren't paying attention to anything I had to tell them. I don't know what got them riled up. But I'm not having it," Tom said as he kissed her and made some coffee.

Harper couldn't help but worry that there was more going on than what Tom had told her.
