Harper sat in the relatives room with tom. They weren't really talking buttery knew that they needed to stay strong for Sofia. Harper was scared "I know this is my fault" tom said as Harper ran her hands through her hair and looked to him and smiled "no, your the one that caused me into labour and it might not of been that, it was stress as well as you pushing me, you didn't cause her health issues or the hole in her heart, it's not your fault" Harper said as she walked over and sat next to him and smiled as she took a hold of his hand "I know were not in the right place but this isn't about us tom. It's about Sofia and we need to be here and we need to be her parents, we need to be strong for her and we can't do that by fighting" Harper said as Tom looked to her and smiled as he wrapped an arm around her and hugged her.

"I don't know is I am meant to sit here and wait like my new born daughter is in surgery having major surgery. I just can't" Harper said as she stood up and ran her hands through her hair and sighed. She could feel the tears roll down her face and sighed as Tom stood up and smiled as he walked over to her. He placed a hand on her cheek and smiled as he wiped the tears away from her face and smiled "I know, I know your scared and so am I but I promise, I promise you that it's going to be okay. I'm here and your not alone in this together" he said as she looked to him and smiled. Harper was feeling scared and didn't know how to cope, especially if she lost Sofia.

Later that day, Harper walked out of Sofia's room in the special care unit and smiled as she looked to tom. The surgery had gone well and she was glad. She was glad to know her baby would be okay. She saw tom and smiled as he walked over to her and hugged her. Madison walked down the hall and cleared her throat as Tom walked off "I'll go get some clothes" he said as she nodded. Madison walked over to her and smiled "are you okay" Madison asked as Harper nodded "tired" Harper said as Madison looked to her and smiled.

"So, you and tom?" Madison asked as she and Harper walked into the canteen. Harper looked to her and sighed "it's nothing we agreed to be parents and agreed to put Sofia first and to be honest I really don't have the energy to fight with him" Harper said as Madison looked to her and smiled "I know your still mad at him but it's not about you two and right now, you need him. You need him now more than ever" Madison said as Harper looked to her and smiled. She knew she was right and that she needed toms support.

A few weeks later. Harper stood anxiously as Tom walked down the hall and over to her "I got your message is everything okay" he asked as she looked to him and nodded "it's great news, she can come home" Harper asked tom looked to her and smiled as he pulled her into a hug and smiled "that's great" he said as Harper looked to him and smiled as she placed a hand on his cheek and smiled as she leant in and kissed him.
