Tom was worried. Harper hadn't been herself lately. She had been off and withdrawn. He didn't know what to do or think. Tom knew that he just wanted to be there for her but it wasn't easy when it seemed as if she was pushing him away and cutting him out. He knew Harper well, he knew her to well and he knew when there was something that was bothering her. Tom walked into the kitchen where Harper was feeding Sofia and smiled. He placed a hand on her shoulder as she teased slightly "babe, are you okay" he asked as she looked to him and smiled "I'm fine, my head is a mess and I didn't sleep that well" she said as Tom looked to her and smiled

He sat next to her at the kitchen table, he looked to her for a moment and sighed. He knew that she wasn't herself "you do look tired, but you don't seem yourself at all" he said. Harper looked to him and smiled "I'm fine Tom, I promise you don't need to worry about me" Harper said as she placed Sofia in her high chair and smiled as she looked to Tom. Tom placed a hand on her cheek and smiled "but I do worry about you, your my girlfriend and the mother of my child and I worry over you" he said as she looked to him and smiled. Harper knew she was keeping secrets from him over her past but she knew it was best that he didn't know "it's going to be okay I promise" Tom said as Harper smiled

Harper got to work and sighed as she dropped Sofia off at the crèche. She walked out of the crèche and smiled as she saw Madison "have you spoken to Tom" "I speak to Tom all of the time" Harper said as Madison looked to her And raised an eyebrow at her. Madison know her best friend and she knew how she was cut off and how she was avoiding the subject. "Harper, you know what I mean. Tom is your boyfriend and I know that your worried he will see you differently but what happened to you doesn't define you, Tom will be there for you no matter what and you know that. He is a great man" Madison said

Harper looked to her and smiled. She knew that she loved Tom and that he was a great man but she didn't want to loose him. It terrified her "I just don't want him to see me as a victim" "and he won't, your not a victim Harper. You are a survivor who has been through so much but it is going to be okay" Madison said as she hugged Harper who smiled. Harper knew she couldn't carry on keeping something this big from Tom

Harper walked into Toms classroom. He looked to her and smiled"hey, is everything okay" he asked as she looked to him and sighed "I don't know, I need to talk to you and I don't want you to see me differently as if I am a victim" she said as she walked over to him. He grabbed her hand and smiled "I would never, tell me" "last week when Allie had the baby it brought back memories" she said as Tom looked to her and frowned "what do you mean" "I was also abused by my stepfather" Harper said as Tom looked to her in shock "come here" he said as he pulled her onto a hug and smiled "it's all going to be okay" Tom said as he held her close. Tom was going to make him pay for hurting Harper.
