Madison walked down the hallway of the hospital as she stood on the phone to max who had Emilie. Madison had spent the night in the hospital with Harper and Sofia. Madison knew that Harper was worried over Sofia and that she had pushed tom away for someone to blame but she knew that Tom and Harper needed each other. Madison smiled as she saw tom sitting on a seat in the hallway "I'll call you back max" Madison said as she hung up the phone and smiled as she walked over to tom and smiled "are you okay?" Madison asked as tom looked up to see Madison and sighed "right, I'll say no more, you know that she loves you. Harper is scared and she is pushing you away and looking for someone to blame" "I am too blame though" tom said as Madison looked to him and smiled "you need to be there for her and put your daughter first, you need each other" Madison said as Tom looked to her and smiled.

Tom looked to Madison and smiled as she sat next to him "this is the last thing I wanted, I love Harper and Sofia and I didn't want this. I was feeling ashamed and scared since the attack and I pushed her and I know that I shouldn't of but it just happened. I love Harper and I would never hurt her" tom said as Madison looked to him and smiled "I know, you just have to tell her that, she's pushing you away and you know Harper does that when she's scared so you need to push back so that she knows your not going anywhere. What she needs now more than anything is your support" Madison said as Tom looked to her and smiled. He knew that she was right and he had to fight for his family.

Later that morning, Tom walked into the hospital room and looked to Harper who frowned to him "no way in hell" she said as she walked over to her. He grabbed her arm and pulled her out of the room "I get it, your mad and I'm mad at myself but this isn't about us, she is my daughter too and I won't let you push me out" tom said as Harper looked to him silently before she slapped him as he held his stinging cheek and looked to her as she went to walk off "dorm fight me, your angry she's ill not at me" tom said as she looked to him for a moment before she leant in and kissed him as he kissed her back slightly before she pulled away and sighed "I still hate you" she spat.

Tom and Harper sat in the ICU as they looked to Sofia. Not a word had really been said between them. Harper frowned as a Doctor walked in as they started to do some tests on Sofia "is everything okay?" Harper asked as tom took a hold of her hand as they looked to each other "it seems that Sofia's heart seems to be failure her and she is going to need surgery so she can have a normal life" the doctor said as Harper looked to him and shock her head as she placed in hand "no" she said as she started to cry as tom walked over to her and hugged her knowing that they needed each other right now in that moment.
