A/N I know I said that harper would be pregnant with toms baby when she returned, but I've decided against that

Tom lay in bed and sighed, he looked to his girlfriend cesca who was fast asleep beside him. He liked her, but he knew he wasn't in love with her, she wasn't harper, Harper had left him months ago and he was starting to think that he would ever see her again. He knew he was still in love with harper. Tom ran a hand through his hair and sighed to himself, he knew he was the reason she left, he wasn't giving her the attention that she needed so she left, she left him and he moved on with cesca to try and get over her, but he was only fooling himself if he told himself he liked cesca, sure she was beautiful and smart but she was nothing, not when his heart still belonged to harper. Cesca rolled over in bed and looked to tom "you okay baby?" she asked him and tom smiled "im fine" he said as she sat up and straddled his lap "is there anything I can do" she asked as she ran a hand down his chest. Tom smirked to her slightly "no, im going to go and get a drink" tom said as he pushed her off of him. He didn't want to have sex with cesca, he wasn't in the mood to have sex with her, especially when he couldn't stop thinking about harper, she was the love of his life and he would do anything to have her back.

Tom sat in the staffroom, he sighed to himself as he sipped on his cup of coffee, he still couldn't stop thinking about harper. The door to the staffroom opened and harper walked in, She had re-joined waterloo road after some time off. Tom was still looking at his paper that he was reading. Grantly looked to harper "why you choose to return here, is beyond me" he said "you know me grantly" harper said and tom looked up as he heard her voice. He looked to harper "harps?" tom said as he stood up and walked over to her. Harper smiled to him "hi tom" she said as he placed a hand on her shoulder, as if seeing if she was really there and if to see if she was real and that he wasn't imagining it "your back?" he asked and harper smiled " i am" she said as cesca walked into the room, she walked over to tom and kissed him "who's this?" cesca asked looking down her nose at cesca slightly "this is harper, harper this is cesca" tom said as introduced them. Harper smiled at cesca "the harper? hmm...I thought she would be prettier" cesca said as she walked off. Harper bite her lip, she knew she would say something to cesca if she didn't "nice choice in a girlfriend you have, I see your finished with the dinner lady" harper said and tom sighed "rose, was nothing" tom said "yeah and clearly I was nothing to you also" harper said as she walked off "harper" tom called after her, but she had already walked out of the room. Tom sighed to himself, he knew he wanted her back no matter what it took.
