Chapter 10

Yeah- so, 0/10 wouldn't recommend writing twister as a game. So if they're twisting in a way that doesn't work for the human body, suck it up. Lol. 💙

Kai and Jay sat talking on the couch, as Lloyd and Nya set up twister in the living room. It may have been obvious what they were trying to do, but Kai didn't mind. Nothing surprised him with his sister anymore.

Cole and Zane were standing by the TV, also talking. Kai took note that they would occasionally look at Kai and Jay, and continue talking.

Kai just pretended not to notice and continued to talk to Jay. It wasn't long before Lloyd and Nya said it was time to play.

"Let's do groups of two first, then four. Cole and Zane, and Kai and Jay. Then all of you." Nya said.

Lloyd nodded in agrement. Both of them had wide grins, probably thinking they were geniuses. "Cole and Zane first!"

The ice and earth ninjas looked at each other and smiled with a laugh. "Sounds good to me." Cole said.

Kai read the rules. "Okay both of you stand at opposite sides, one foot on the blue closest to the end of the mat. Same with the other foot on yellow."

Cole took the left side while Zane took the right side, ready to play the game.

Nya grabbed the spinner and stood near Lloyd. "Would you like to spin first?"

Lloyd took the spinner eagerly. "Of course." He flicked the pointer and it spun in a blur. "Okay! Left hand blue!"

Zane tilted forward and placed his hand two spaces from his foot. Cole squatted and did the same.

Nya grabbed for the spinner eagerly. "Right hand red."

The two placed their hands on the color, trying not to get twisted up yet. The game continued until Zane was over Cole, looking at the ceiling.

Cole was underneath Zane left hand in front of him, as well as his right foot. The other hand was between his arm and leg, but behind. His remaining foot stuck out behind him.

The earth ninja was shaking, obviously trying his best to hold himself up. "Come on Cole! You can do it!" Kai cheered.

"Don't fall!" Jay said. "No pressure."

Cole chuckled, but not before his right foot gave out beneath him, and he fell to the ground. "Ouch." He groaned.

Zane smiled and stood up. He turned around and helped up his boyfriend. "Good job love. But I don't believe you'll beat me at twister quite yet."

Cole smiled as he was helped up. "I'll win at some point. But it's not fair because you're a nindroid." He chuckled.

"But you're the strongest here, Cole." Kai said.

Cole looked at the fire ninja. "Yeah, but probably not the best core strength."

Kai shrugged. "You're right. But you're still stronger."

Nya and Lloyd grinned. "Next pair!" They shouted together! The two were ready for the new pair to get together, and hopefully date. And perhaps this game would strengthen the feelings they had for each other.

Kai stood on the right side of the map while Jay took the left. Each had a foot on a yellow and blue circle. Kai hoped that his injured wing wouldn't hinder how much he could move.

"Left hand red!" Lloyd said. Kai and Jay smiled at each other, and they both squatted over, to place their left palms on the red circles.

Nya took the spinner. "Left foot red." She giggled.
