We were in a forest. There were trees as far as the eye could see. Some were massive trees of jungle wood, and others were smaller oak and birch trees.
"Where on Earth are we?" Ava looked around.
"Looks like a giant forest. Was it not obvious?" Gwen said bluntly.
"Alright, I say we split up. Arnold, Gwen, Ava, Yashi and I can gather resources, while the rest of you look around if there's any other wildlife here. Then, after an hour and a half, let's meet up here." I said. We went straight ahead and started getting some wood from the jungle trees. After that, I made a pickaxe and an axe to chop down the trees without getting hurt.
"Look at that!" Yashi pointed to a cave opening. We went and got some stone to make a stone axe and pickaxe, along with a sword and furnace. We also found a ton of iron ore and made some armour and iron tools, and a shield. (A/N: it's just basic minecraft survival, because after the vortex sucked them in, minecraft just became real life. I'll explain more at the end of the chapter.)
An hour later, we all met up. Kiara, Samuel, James and Noah had found a bunch of pandas, ocelots, parrots, wolves, sheep, cows, and more. Nothing that resembled a human being, though. We showed them all the wood, stone, and iron we'd collected.
"So, I think the next thing we should do is make a shelter and get some food. It's getting a bit dark." Arnold said.
All of a sudden, a woman with light grey hair, almost white hair, and grey eyes approached us. She had a wreath-like thing on her hair made of leaves, which were the colour of pure gold.
"Hello there. I am Diana. I'm the God of this place, it's called WonderCraft. We have some rules here, please follow them, or you will be sentenced to a life sentence in our prison, Zeus' Vault." she said.
"Firstly, no griefing, blowing up stuff or stealing. Second, you cannot destroy the environment in any way. This means no chopping down trees at all, or picking flowers, or killing animals. If you break any of these rules, I will know."
We stopped in our tracks. How on Earth were we supposed to get resources if we couldn't even chop down trees? And animals were currently our only food source, how would we survive without food?
She continued to explain some more absolutely nonsense, rubbish rules stating she's the supreme commander and the God and stuff like that. [A/N: I'm so lazy to go into the details :')]
"That's ridiculous." I whispered to Gwen. "We wouldn't survive a day without killing the animals! They're our only food source."
"I know.. this woman, God or whatever her name was is absolutely mental." she said.
"Wait, what are we going to do for shelter?" Kiara asked.
"I've got some wool, we can make some beds. And since Ava and Yashi have some oak wood, we can make fences with that, and with the remaining wool, we can make a tent." James said.
And that's what we did. We made a temporary shelter for the night and slept in it.
Little did we know, we had a surprise waiting for us the very next day..
A/N: Hii! So like I said, pretty confusing storyline. It's a work in progress, so I will be rewriting some things here and there.
Another thing is, in the previous A/N regarding it being basic minecraft survival, I said that minecraft just became real life. And no, this doesn't mean the college they were in at the start of the story gets magically teleported into WonderCraft. A) I'm too lazy to write all of that, and B) it would mess up the storyline I have planned. And no, any characters that were there only in chapter 1 won't be coming to the storyline *cough* Ariana *cough*. Also, I'll probably be doing a weekly upload schedule, just in case u were curious.
