I woke up coughing water out. I guess even my body couldn't get over the "lake incident". That's what everyone called the thing that happened during the execution.
"Morning." I said, getting out of bed. Arnold opened his eyes and yawned.

"What's the time?" He asked, trying to find a clock in the room. He found it, and also noticed the water. "You good?"
"Yeah, I told you. I'm fi-" I coughed. He raised an eyebrow.
"April, you're obviously still sick. You should be in bed, resting. And I'm not taking no for an answer this time."

"Ok, fine." I sighed, pulling the covers back on. Noah came in and sat down on the bed.
"So.. any questions about the Enderian story?" He said.
"As a matter of fact, yes. Did no one have the idea to save the Endermen, to free them? It all seems very strange. Surely there were attempts to save them?" I pointed out.

"They suffered the same fate as the Endermen. Stuck in a barren wasteland, trapped by the Dragon."
"No one at all succeeded in freeing them, then?"
"Nope. Not as far as I know."
"So, hypothetically, if we went to the End somehow and killed the dragon.. we'd be the first to essentially free the End."

"Are you suggesting-?" There was a tone of worry in Noah's voice.
"Well, it can't be impossible. Anything's possible if you've got enough nerve." I quoted. "What I'm saying is, yeah. We could do that."
"We're not doing that now, at least. You're still sick and in no state to take on a bloody dragon, everyone else needs to agree on this, and we need to prepare for the fight. It won't be easy, of course. Besides, if you fall in the void, you're permanently dead. No reviving, no spawning back in your bed. You're gone, like that." Arnold interrupted.

"Alright, then. But I'm saying this one more time: it's not impossible."
Gwen also entered the room. "Kiara sent me in here. Honestly, how did we manage with her as our roommate for so long? She was talking all night and I didn't get an inch of sleep."

"That's sad. I slept like a baby last night." I grinned.
"How? Didn't Arnold snore or something like that?"
"Hey! I do not snore!" He pouted.
"You do." Noah said. "I remember earlier, I was going to check on April even when you said you'd stay with her in case something happened, and guess what I found? You were fast asleep, snoring, quite loudly too. I could hear it from my room!"

"What-?" I raised an eyebrow.
"Don't ask, it's a long story."
He left the room, hearing James calling him. I sneezed loudly.

"Excuse me." I said, about to get out of bed to check on my book, which was in a chest. Arnold stopped me. "Do you mind? I just needed to check on a certain something I left in a chest."

"Ok, I'll let you go. Just don't take too long." It was still there, thankfully. I went back on the bed. He gave me a "look".
"Alright, alright! I'll stay in bed."

It was now afternoon, and everyone was in the living room. We were talking about the whole End plan.

"It's a good idea, I have to admit that." Roman said.
"Yes, but how do we even go to the End?" Niki pointed out.
"There's a secret bunker deep underground, somewhere in the world, called the Stronghold. It has a hidden portal room, where we need to put in the Eyes of Ender, which we need 12 of. Then, the portal should open up and we can go kill the dragon." Noah explained. He seemed to know a lot about this End dimension.

"Hold on. I've just remembered something." I said. "The Enderman.. it was saying something in Enderspeak. I heard it say "Look for the eye".
"So.. is it telling us to go on some treasure hunt to find the Eyes of Ender?" Samuel said. I could tell he thought this was childish.

"It looks like that, yes." I went outside, and found an eye hidden in the snow. "And we've just found the first one."
That was only the first eye. There were still 11 more we had to find.

"That's 1 out of the 12 we need. At least we've got a head start." Noah said. "Do you think we'll find some in WonderTopia?"
"Probably, there's a high chance. I-" I was cut off by a coughing fit, followed by more water. "As I was saying.. I say we get to WonderTopia by sundown. Then, we all split up to find the eyes. After that, it's just a matter of finding the Stronghold."

"For the last time.. you're still sick and in absolutely no state to take on a dragon."
"Oh, for goodness' sake, I'm fine." I attempted to hold in a loud sneeze and yet another coughing fit. That didn't work out, unfortunately.

"Given what just happened right now, I don't think so.." Arnold said. I sighed. He really could be very protective when he felt like it.
"Fine, how's this? We can stay here for the rest of the day, then we head to WonderTopia tomorrow at dawn."

"That works for me." Olivia said. She had barely spoken since she confronted me about the prison thing. "Hey, April, if it's alright with you.. can you forgive me for what happened yesterday? I was acting like a real idiot that time."
"I forgive you." I shook her hand. "So, friends again?"

"Definitely." she smiled. I went back inside with the others, seeing Arnold give me a look that said "you promised".
"I've just realised.. isn't Noah, like, half-dragon?" Arnold said, when we went back in the room. "Would he be mad if we killed one of his kind?"

"I hope not, but I do know I'd be mad if you killed an Enderman or Enderian that had done nothing to you. Even if Noah's mad, at least it's for good reason." A wolf suddenly pounced on me. "Awwww! Just like Luna.." my face dropped again. I shook myself.

"As Dumbledore said, we shouldn't be dwelling on the past." Arnold said. I grinned at him being a complete nerd over Harry Potter, like me.
"Noah! Are these yours?" Noah came in, hearing loud barks from our room, which were from a bunch of wolves that just entered.
"They are, why?" He asked, patting one of them. "I've been breeding them up in case we get attacked."

"Oh, that's smart. But what about cats? Everyone knows they're cuter." Olivia said.
"Cats can't attack." Olivia gave him an offended look. "I forgot.."
"No biggie." Arnold left the room to go get something.

Minutes later, he suddenly entered the room again with a map in one hand and tea in the other.

"This is a map of the entire world. I made it so it wouldn't be such a hassle to find the eyes." he noticed me under the covers. "April, I don't think you can drink tea in this position." I got up and sipped the tea, taking in the fresh air.

"It's a good day to be alive, isn't it?" I said, looking at the sunset from the window. "Anyway, I'm headed to bed. See you guys in the morning." Olivia left the room. I noticed Arnold looking at the map in confusion.
"And that's the basketball court, but what's that? It doesn't-" he muttered.

"What happened? Let me see." I took the map gently and saw some ancient runes where the chess board was. "That's Enderspeak, but in written language. It says there's a stronghold right under the chess board."
"Really?" He looked at me in surprise. "That solves one problem, then."

"Good night." I said, giving him a smile before heading to sleep.
"Good night, love." I heard him say to himself.
