"Yep, she's dead." James groaned. "We have some serious bad luck, given 3 people are dead. In the course of one month. One, I say!"

I couldn't believe my ears. Dead. She was my friend, for 10 years! And I was just going to.. I hate myself sometimes.
April had promised me something a week back.

"I will love you until my very last breath."
That aged well, didn't it? But at least she didn't break that promise.
I was pretty mad at Samuel for killing her, but there genuinely wasn't anything I could do. He'd kill me too.

"Wait, I just remembered something! I'll be right back, guys!" James ran off to the prison.

James' POV

I have no idea what I expected out of Samuel. He killed her, literally treated me like a slave, made me the villain, and exiled Arnold for being neutral.

But the real question was, how did he escape Zeus' Vault? I was monitoring it constantly, and I had cameras set up in the prison. He can't have done it alone. Wait, where's Noah..?
Oh, he did not.

"Wait, I just remembered something! I'll be right back, guys!" And I ran. I ran as fast as I could to Zeus' Vault. If, just if..

I checked the cameras for footage. They'd been shot by a figure with dragon wings and a purple-black outfit. And someone in a yellow sweater and red beanie was there too. That was all I could make out from the footage left.

Dragon wings. That's all I needed.
Then, I went to the main prison. There was a hole in the wall.
That's Noah. He was lying unconscious on the floor. Not another one..
I picked him up, and carried him on my shoulders. If, just if..

Arnold's POV

Oh good, he's back. Is he carrying Noah..? That's another one probably dead.
I instantly checked his pulse. Nothing. Absolutely nothing.
"That's 4 people. Did we do something wrong?" Isaac said uncertainly.

"Nothing I know of. Is anyone planning a funeral, by any chance?" Yashi replied.
A funeral? Well, I mean, it is a bit necessary. 4 people are dead. In a month!

(back to April's POV)

"Hello, April." Diana.
"What is this place..?" I looked around. It was empty. Completely empty. Except for..
"Ava!" I ran and hugged her. Roman awkwardly joined in.
"This is limbo. It's basically the in-between of afterlife."
"And..?"

"You have a choice, though. Would you prefer to be a ghost, still in the world, or ascend to afterlife?"
