"So, what powers do you guys want?"

The words hit everyone like a truck. We could hardly believe we were here, let alone we could have some superhuman powers!

Gwen spoke first. "Can I have the ability to breathe underwater infinitely? I love marine life, so it would fit me."
"I'd like to transform people into animals and creatures, and vice versa." Yashi said.
"Is that everyone?" Diana asked round.

"Yeah, I'm good. I don't really need any superpower to be cool or whatever." Arnold said.
"Well said, Arnold. Well said."
It was now night time. Everyone went to sleep in the temporary tent, along with Kevin and Isaac, who had brought their own beds.

And then it was morning. For some reason, I kept waking up super early, despite being the heavy sleeper of the group.

"Morning, everyone." I said, looking around. "Alright, so I have an announcement. One, I don't think we're all gonna fit in one camp forever. So today, we all should build our own houses. Two, while Arnold and I were looking for Kevin and Isaac, we found a ruined portal-like thing. It looked a bit dangerous, so we decided to come back to it with more people. So today, we're also gonna go through that thing and see what's on the other side."

I got out of the tent, found a nice flat area, and built a house made of oak wood, and some spruce wood I found lying around. The roof was made of stone bricks and also functioned as an attic. I also built a potato farm. (A/N: let's just pretend they found a potato in the last chapter lol)

Isaac built his house a bit far away from mine. It was honestly just a normal house made of oak with a birch roof. Kevin, however, built his in the sky, with a giant storage room.

After everyone built their houses, we all went in the direction of the ruined portal. I knew it was a bit far from the spawn area, so it took a while to actually find it. When we did, though, we took the obsidian from the portal and made a rectangle shape. Then, we lit it with a flint and steel.

And then, finally, we entered the portal.
The second we were in, we saw a dragon that was blazing red, almost a scarlet colour, with maroon wings, lime green eyes that were full of sadness and had scales on its back. It was a dragon, after all. It was also firing fire breath at us while being stuck to the ground by a giant wrecking ball that was tied to its foot.

Noah instantly, without even thinking, ran to the dragon's foot and got rid of the wrecking ball. He then stepped back very carefully, to not provoke the dragon.
"Do you guys think it's friendly?.." he asked, worried.
The dragon instantly killed them with its fire breath. The end. (A/N: Jk lol, did you think I'd really let it end like that?)

Instead of firing at us, the dragon approached us and began licking Noah. No joke, it just started acting like a dog. And then, it spoke.

"Hello, travellers. I have been trapped here for years by the forces of evil, and despite all efforts, I have been unable to escape. But you lot, without even caring about your own safety, freed me. Thank you so much, I owe you guys."

"As for you, young man." The dragon looked at Noah. "You deserve this." It did some magic-like thing, and then, without any warning, Noah sort of.. transformed. His once black eyes were now a bright purple, he had black wings, and a small tattoo on his arm of a purple fireball.

"You are now a Dragon Tamer. You can speak to dragons and even tame the most hostile ones. You can also fly around infinitely, with no fuel. There is a cost, though. Dragon Tamers are weak to Wither arrows."

Noah stopped dead in his tracks. He was just as shocked as we were. Nobody could believe this dragon was friendly. We then thanked the dragon for giving Noah a special ability and carried on exploring.

This place, known as the Nether, was a giant wasteland. There was little to no wildlife, and even the plants there were very limited. They'd evolved into fungi that didn't need the sun or air to survive. We found some creatures called "piglins", who you could trade gold with for items such as armour and enchanted books, and some things called "Ender Pearls". There were also giant oceans of just lava. After a while, we came back to the Overworld.

"Oh, look at the sunset." I pointed to the sun setting in awe.
"It looks beautiful." Arnold said. He was standing right next to me.
"Night." I said, heading to my house.
However, just as we all were headed back to our homes, we were all teleported to Diana. She had another announcement to make.

"Alright, rules update."

She went on and on about how she was the supreme commander, the God and whatnot, and anyone that said otherwise was going to get a life sentence in Zeus' Vault.

"You may go to your homes and sleep now." She finally concluded.
Everybody sighed in relief. At this point, close to no one could stand Diana and her absolutely nonsense rules. We all headed to our respective houses and went back to sleep.

A/N: working on chapter 5 rn, I'll see if I can finish it by tomorrow or so
