-Time skip to a few weeks later, brought to you by me fighting my writers block-
A/N: was watching some DSMP animatics, and came across this amazing creation. Here's the link:
"I- she left the country to me?!" Isaac said in shock.
"According to this will, yes, looks like it." Diana said.
"Where did you guys even get that?" Gwen enquired, raising an eyebrow.
"Long story."Short version, Diana found the panic room, went through the barrel, found the will which I'd hidden in there because I was quite sure I'd die, and then this happens. And yes, I did happen to leave WonderTopia to Isaac. He's my cousin, after all.
He went up to the mic. Everyone took a seat.
"So, as you all are aware, April was killed a month or so ago by.. you know who I'm talking about. And her will says that I am to inherit WonderTopia. My first decree as mayor of this nation is.. to make my assistant Samuel!"
I- is he serious right now? I didn't account for this.. I hate myself."Deep breaths, April. Don't panic." my breathing was practically out of control. I couldn't think straight at all. I closed my eyes as a bunch of useless thoughts flooded my mind.
"I-" I was about to fall to the ground with a thud. Arnold caught me in an instant.
"You're such a child." He grinned. This wasn't a smug smirk like Samuel's.. it was different.
"That's rich, coming from the child of the friend group."Samuel's POV
"Look what I found." I said to myself as I found a compass lying on the floor. It was labelled "panic room". It had to be April's.. I'd seen it so many times before. When I was in her mind, when I was controlling her, when I haunting her sleep.. it never ends.
"Samuel! You come here right now!" James started shooting fireballs at me. I dodged them and ran to where the compass was pointing. North, now a bit more to the west.. then south. It was somewhere around here, I was sure of it.
James started running after me, still shooting fireballs. I managed to dodge a few as I mined straight down. I ended up mining into an obsidian box with a lectern, and a barrel with some signs. The lectern had a book in it.. this was it.
I flipped through the pages. April had been writing everything that's happened since the Samuel voice appeared in her head. I ripped a ton of the pages out and put them in the barrel. I then found an empty page, wrote the words "Thank you" and drew a small smile with a red beanie on it. I ran out of there and went back to the surface.
(back to April's POV)
I was just headed to the exile bunker with the others when it happened. When my memories were gone. We were going to get our stuff out of the chests in there. I did that and I was about to leave, until I decided to check up on my panic room. It could've been compromised, for all I know.
I started mining until I saw a block of obsidian was missing. Someone had been here.. but nobody knew where it was, unless..?
I rummaged through my stuff. It wasn't there. The floor was also covered in ink.
"That's not good.." I muttered, before checking the barrel and my book. It needed a bit of updating, after all.The barrel wasn't too different, just some signs and.. paper? I must've left that there last time I came here to make a map or something. The book was.. another story. The pages of it had been ripped out. I flipped through it frantically. No, this couldn't be..
"Thank you", a page read with a smile drawn on it. The smile had a.. red beanie on it. Like mine. No, no, no..
I sat down on the floor and tried to think this out logically. Maybe someone left that as a prank..? No, that's stupid. Nobody knows where this is. Maybe I'm dreaming? I pinched myself. No, not a dream. This is real.
There was no other explanation: Samuel had been here. And he'd written that.
